Sixty Years Later

    America plagued by terror
Murder and hate wherever you turn

Country gone the way of Watts, ‘65
      ~ “Burn, baby burn”

What does it say my friend. People do not change. You would think we learn from our mistakes but here it is 60 years later and we are still have a mentality of a wild animal. Great point Gershon, this one is a favorite...

You said it, Deb. Still and all, here's to 2025 as a year when common sense returns to governing bodies. ~ Gershon

I am not watching the news anymore. Just driving through our neighborhood today, which my husband said he wanted to do "just to relax and get out a few minutes" We encountered traffic and some raging drivers seeming half nuts in the space of less than ten minutes. He grimly laughed about it, as we turned for home. It is strange. I hope we can look forward to a peaceful new year. My aunt use to say "Ignorance is bliss" maybe? but it really is pretty impossible to ignore anger and hate.

So sadly true, Gershon. Despite this I hope your New Year has been promising to you. Shalom ~

Indeed, we never seem to learn about deja vu.

Right. We actually seem to welcome replays of our worst selves at our worst moments. Incredible. HNY, DM, Gershon
