Longing for the sea,
the foam soaking my hair;
Longing for the breeze,
to carry my song on the air;
For gills and a tail
I’d gladly give this life;
Longing for the day
I don’t have to come back;
Longing for a time
the Sun is my only clock,
Aching to be
no longer land locked.
LANDLOCKED
landlocked we stalk past pain perimeters
guns rest roughly slung on shoulders hung
closing behind growling within
scoping targets empty claim
weapons lead worlds astray
cast our sins away
lords of nothing
eyes survey
stark hearts
lost

Just Keep Landlocked Making
No Optimism. Preachers Quote
Relentlessly Suspending Time
Underground. Villains With
Xenophobe Yearning Zen.
Xenophobe- one who fears,
mistrusts, and dislikes
foreigners or what is strange or
foreign.
Only by accident you
will find life in
the dead elephant.
We start soul-searching
to uncover,
the hidden path to-
landlocked sea of poachers
of ivory truth.
Infant cries, sleeping
in grass, wait for the
blossoms of spring.
Like a panther
a red cloud descends
to kill the moving, play
without pain.
The nightfall,
when you will discover
yourself in grief
and wait for the sun.

into silence, shapes passing by
shadowed in the blurr
of their growing distance.
They gather at ten, old men,
landlocked yet in their mind’s aegean,
letting out their long nets

horizons drawing them further out
to where, one day, they won’t return.
