Notes About The Poem

Dreams Come True

she had a dream
of seaside escapades
and seabreeze in her hair

this little girl of three
landlocked
utterly determined

to make her dream come true
with a fistful of crayons
she brought to life her pony

I had to fav this one, I always wanted a pony as a kid, after a certain age, I would still say that's what I wanted but no one's ever given me one. I'll probably still be asking for it at age 99; of course, I'll be too old to ride without falling off.

Even at age 99 you could hug and pet your horse, ML. Thank you for the wonderful compliment of FAV'ing this poem. Glad it resonated with you. I hope your dream comes true.
