Teacups by the sink.
Lamentations laid to rest.
I, a foetal curl,
Breathing in your life, now gone
Cocooned in your unwashed shirt.
Laid to rest,
Beside his
Two brothers,
Here, we nest,
In providence
These gentlemen of Camelot
Sir Edward Kennedy,
May you rest in peace
This grave with barber Bob is blessed ~
He was a cut above the rest!

A frosted kiss under a mistletoe
Between me and my warring foe
Let booming guns be laid to rest
With folded hands a peace request
Till Christmas chimes are over
Form:
there is no seeking
because the seeker
who once was
has been laid to rest
all that that now is
is effervescence of bliss
renewing its pulsations
within body apparatus
mind de-fortified
thoughts unchained
scattered voices drowned
feelings left unbuttoned
desires laid to rest
eyes shut forever
emotion of salvation claimed
climax of soul-ace

Old rhymes are laid to rest .
Blue waters are refreshing.
The moment of clarity is like
the water to my breathe.
A garden and rose.
A circle and a fact.
The smell of food.
You sense it.
What a smile.

Out of sympathy,
The silenced heart—
Misled then laid to rest
Though no death has occurred

a little rainbow bunny,
was never like the rest,
they taunted and they teased,
his heart was laid to rest,
he wound up really blue,
when people passed him bye,
his little rainbow tears,
they never saw him cry.
people liked her
not for her beauty,
but the sound of her laugh
the happiness it brought
leaving people chuckle
now she's gone
laid to rest
three years already
I can still hear
her laugh and
it makes me chuckle
amidst the snow, this flower lies alone;
a symbol of love laid at the wayside, out in th cold;
given by one loved one to another, but now laid to rest;
alone in the snow, this symbol of love lays;
this symbol of love;
lost.

What an amazing depression
It's such a wonderful feeling
Not going to care anymore
What an amazing depression
Not doing anything again
My heart laid to rest forever
What an amazing depression
It's such a wonderful feeling

Chocolate ice cream, you've been waiting,
But my temptation is abating..
I've laid to rest the chocolate ooze,
Today, there's another one I choose.
Sending regards to both bean and cow,
Caramel crunch is my main squeeze now.
The flick-flack of the shredded Flag, the bugle marking time
The Soldier laid to rest, midst those that went before
The crosses like snow-white trees, stunted before their Prime
In order, line upon line, do we never learn from War?
I laid to rest my “Bucket” list,
my “to do” list, rather tattered.
At my age, I am second to coexist,
my old brain is rather scattered,
having forgotten life goals that mattered.

Contest: One English Quintain
Her own words
Rang In her ears
Nothing would
Ever stop the pain
The words were said
The error made
Regret upon regret
Could never be undone
Moment of truth
Lie upon lie
Laid to rest
With these simple words
PLEASE FORGIVE ME...................

Johnny Cash was great.
He spread love amid hate.
The man in black, that's what they called him.
A beacon of light when the world is dim.
He was a man full of emotion,
And so i give him my devotion.
He was one of the best.
Now he has been laid to rest.
I like poems best with the dictionary laid to rest
With the last line in the story, " Sunrise to Glory"
When a simple "I love You," is all I need to do
I like poems best, the same as I like You!

When doves cry
There are so many tissues
It's a blinding whiteness
Whipping about
With white wet feathers
Falling asunder
And laid to rest
On the night grass below
Since doves only sob
Under the stars
To mourn proper
The terminus
Of another day.
I sit at the ivy gates
Waiting to say goodbye
I should be sad
Filled with hate
It's not sarrow
But joy inside
Though all this sadness
Breaks my heart
You no longer bare the pain
The world will weep in your absence
It will no longer be the same

If our life is predestined and our fate preordained
Why stress and strain, why live a life of drudgery
Oh, why toil in vain, why to the grindstone be chained,
Let's indulge in a life of slothful luxury.

LIFE OF A MAN.
Is this perfect square
First is your arrival on earth
Second is when you start to
Use your sense
Third is when the world expect
To see you shine
Forth is when you are finaly
Laid to rest.
These square is perfect
But man remains imperfect.

Soon the day will come when I will be with the father above. Sharing in his never
ending love. When I am laid to rest I will not have to worry did I pass the test. Only
God knows I did my best now that I am in heaven all my burdens are laid to rest. I
think this poem is one of my best.
Form:
She is laid to rest
In a nest
Not of her own making
Her eyes are closed
She knows nothing, reposed
Disposed
Of collective unconsciousness
She is sans work
Or waiting
She is surrounded by her visions
Both haunted and healing
She dreams
And her life is lost in the land of brain waves

Pastures new I now journey
To persue a new zest
