Ladybug received flowers from a secret guy
She suspected it was her neighbor Cy
They kept coming almost all of her life
He finally confessed, and she became his wife
Today im going to go looking for ladybugs
Tomorrow i might just do something lazy like go to work
She makes me want her more simply by just being her
and simply makes me be
Sweet ladybugs are not so ladylike
When frightened by oldster or a young tike
Squirting yellow liquid that tastes horrible and stinks
Putrid smelling, worse than corpses of six rotting minks.
Ladybugs bring luck, that's what they all say,
If you catch one before it flies away.
They're very pretty to see.
If it lands on you or me
Then it's said we'll have good luck the whole day.

Pretty polka dots
Grace red butterflies in air,
ladybugs on leaves,
rare parakeets and blossoms
and frogs, mushrooms and cheetahs.
Tiger lily moon
dressed up in dotted silver,
weary of the gold!
Spotted horses and fishes,
join summer's polka dot craze.
Wiggly squirmy fidgety Spring
The robin’s worms the crawling things.
A swarm of ladybugs on the wing.
Children fly on waiting swings.
Geese form squadrons in the air.
Narcissus bloom with scent fair.
And love finds a way to birth
to propagate the waiting earth.
In a world where hatred and prejudice
seem more prevalent than acceptance, love and hugs
I wish we could see each other more like ladybugs…
Whether they are male or female…ladybug is their name…
and as we watch them fly from leaf to leaf…we love them all the same.

Couple o' big ones up ahead
Probably left us two for dead
But in my scout-book I once read
They've a weakness for toxic lead
So, off with your pants, little kid
In a minute you'll be glad what I did
Now from your butt, all the lead shake out
~ We'll put these fearsome ladybugs to rout
Season of butterfly's and spring showers
Pretty clear skies and planting flowers
Rainbows, ladybugs, and roses
Insects, lightening bugs, and sweet smells for cute noses.
Neighborhoods in full swing with outdoor fun.
Gardens emerge with spring nourished by the rays of the sun.

Missy the ladybug
is perfect being alone
her mother however is bothered
that she is still at home
Missy does her part
she always pays her rent
yet momma is still not happy
until another man's house she's sent
but Missy has a secret
to her mother she dare not tell
like her older brother
Missy likes lady lady bugs as well
A ladybug is crawling
As the autumn leaves drift down.
Then suddenly, two more appear;
I thought that they’d left town.
But Google told me otherwise
For ladybugs, it said,
Enjoy a sunny day in fall,
Since winter lies ahead.
They love to come soak up the rays
As I do, when I’m chilled.
Today, the ladybugs and I
Are equally fulfilled.
Simple bugs that can fly through the air,
like bees and ladybugs, they don't scare.
Multi-legs frighten me,
from all spiders, I flee!
Centipedes make me jump on a chair!
Many legs that can race 'cross the floor
bring a fear that I cannot ignore.
When they fast run away,
this sure ruins my day-
they can hide to alarm me once more!
You all came in from the cold shivering
all dressed in red which is bewildering
you'd stay and hover
cause some clutter
but at least you all stopped quivering
Again found you at my kitchen sink
I thought perhaps you all wanted a drink
so I ran the tap water
not thinking it was slaughter
oh ladybugs the way you died just stinks!

Ladybugs are beetles.
They eat aphids and mites, too.
They are red and spotted.
I love ladybugs, don't you?

the aphids and spider mites that destroy a gardener's plants. Some gardeners even
purchase ladybugs from home and garden centers to sprinkle on their plants!
