Premium Member East River Thoughts
In the chaos of youth lights
          dance without exhaustion
A ballet on the river
          dissonant music in the city

An agitated psyche absorbs
            the brilliant skyline
A bridge sprawls and intimidates
            perpetual motion in the city...

Terrified / Excited
The elegance of your proclamation,
Enchanting divinity of your tone.
Quaking and naïve, hidden by laughter.
My embrace belies my apprehension.

The distilled belief that you perspire
Is a pheromone that intimidates.
Gestures of your assertive intent
Arouses a medley of emotions....

She Feels
She feels she knows it all,
She thinks she ps all tough,
She believes since its good today, so shall it be forever,
She intimidates her who has no one,

She must be angry at someone,
She must be angry at something,
She might be jealous of her,
Why?
Because she is she and she is her.......

Withered Beast
Rising tall
in the thicket,
cresting with
force nestled
behind matted
fur and eight
fresh gashes
scabbing
firm,
the elder
intimidates
with rattling
force only
guttural
pronouncements
designed to
instill fear

or
spark
resolve,
pivoting
an element
of battle that
shatters poise....

Premium Member Jasper Terrifies My Enemy
Jasper intimidates my friends
Terrifies my enemies
Of which there is only one
I feel protected now
He lets no one abuse me
I keep him close

It is not everyone who has a polar bear for a best friend
I feel fortunate and blessed
My faerie godmother loves me
She knew what she was doing when she sent Jasper
No one hurts me now
And my enemy runs screaming into the night...

Diamond
Shine bright through your heart
Blinds your doubts to sures
Steal your attention away,
A beautiful distraction
Seductive to the flesh
A best friend you could die for
A high class jew often mistaken,
Mistaken as a pebble
Intimidates the weak
Weak runs towards the pebble
Settles for less despite a precious diamond
A diamond reflects perfection onto the broken
A solid rock that stand the test of time...

Premium Member Planting Seed
Planting Seed Miracle Man 4/26/2024 Change is sometimes birthed, from planting one single seed. Oft times it’s solitary purpose, Is agreement with some creed. From a subtle thought placed, in a fertile, unsuspecting mind. The seed sprouts and grows, until your thoughts were mined. They try convincing others, that safety exists in numbers. The visual of crowd size, intimidates and encumbers.

Premium Member fear is here in full force today
I stare at the pristine white blank page
She intimidates me, I know she feels my fear
I am not the enemy I say

If you crumple me up, I will bite you, she says
I remember my last paper cut.
It was not fun.

I need to start typing
But fear holds me back.
Come on! My muse says. Don’t be a pussy!

I am intimidated by her too.
She can be demanding, commanding.
And crazy? A voice whisper in my ear.

Damn fear!
She is here in full force today....

Jail-Like
Some inmates, when released from jail,
Don’t waste a lot of time
Before old habits do prevail
And they commit a crime.

A subsequent arrest may cause
A trip back to the cell
And to the life that prisoner
Has come to know so well.

The outside world intimidates;
Protection disappears,
But being back eliminates
The risk of hidden fears.

Like convicts, I am also stuck
Inside my Covid realm,
Not knowing when I’ll have the pluck
To once more take the helm....

Premium Member Upheaval Nations
Public protracts a meg night of sorrow. My forebears' screaming intimidates me. I'm on high alert; catch my spirit growl. Upheaval nations were met with fury. Whiners pelted with mallets left dreary. Police detained civil rights advocates. Despotism bears loads worrisome ailments. Anyone opposing the reins is held. Each note is judged by a team of experts, Most of them seem to be wholly ignored.

For You Are......
For the way you are is new to me,
Your pride and strength and dignity.
For whom so knows how to react to someone like you?
For you are one who intimidates.

For the way you are makes me wonder,
why do your actions boom like thunder?
Why do your words inspire me so?
For you are one who astonishes.

For the way you speak, that way you say,
it makes me want to hear you everyday.
As I leave in closing,
For you are chosen to steal my heart,
like you did from the start....

Premium Member Magical Cat and Magical Mouse
This cat must be magical thought the plain little mouse
She is decorated so beautifully, she intimidates me a bit
The cat thought the mouse was cuddly and cute, liked him in the house
Made a friend out of him, they sang together, a duo hit

So are we both magical? Asked the mouse to his friend, the cat
Yes indeed she told him, for we both “know where it’s at”
We are creative, and smart, and fun, and we know what to do.
They lived quietly in a house painted every single color and hue....
