Sadness interferes with life
In me it muses
I feel the power of hurt
And it squeezes out
Saddened heartlessness

What's That Hum I Hear

I love the sound of ice cream trucks
the tune - sweet music to my ears
But then again, watch out, oh shucks -
the hum of sweat bees interferes.

Premium Member Pet Rock ****

I'm not one who judges, interferes or meddles,
but I must spay my pet rock because it won't stop having pebbles.
You may find me to be somewhat of a nut
but I truly suspect that my pet rock is a ****.

A Book of Poetry

A fly from yesterday
buzzing around the room
even if i try to ignore
no way
Even today it still interferes with my work
I pick up Shelley's poetry book
Sitting on a dusty window blinder
hit and catch the guy.

Sabatoging Ones Self

I dream of intimacy
maybe my self conscious
is trying to tell me
that I need somebody
My heart interferes
because it has everything to fear
I mess up every prospect
because I am scared
But truthfully
I'm more scared of no one being there

First

See that girl with her lights dim
Didn’t realize her own self
She won’t listen, no she won’t listen
And who am I to say?
Who am I to interferes?
We’re in grief
But mine was enough
Both confessed, but both lied
Both convinced, but both left.

Skill

Errant, superficial and of kneel
this male emboss, so sacred finds appeal
within a drama's spoke, yet not of real,
while faith's abounding wisdom highlights skill
and interferes not prestige, but reveals!

As so my vestige in this writing wills
thy truth & trust . . . . the vagrant heart, but thrills!

Old

my sweet, slightly off kilter
my odd, confused self
may not fool anyone, anymore
maybe I should grow up?
but it's worked well for me

The Past

accidental wise things I say
highlight my sagging ass
I am annoyed with this process
it interferes with my princessness
I can't decide
do I like it?

Mental Obstacles Impede

Interference

Whether in a baseball game
Or in the span of life,
Interference often causes
Agita* or strife.

Even when one’s motives
May be innocent or pure,
A casual observer
Or an ump might not be sure.

So consequences will result
When someone interferes,
And sometimes the effects may last
For months or even years.

*indigestion; aggravation

Premium Member Why I Occupy

There is a head game
that none of us wants but
it's there anyway.

There is a head game
that interferes with what we are trying
(in all of our fumbling ineptitude) to say.

There is a head game
that distracts us from quality of life
to
the quantity of stuff for which we must pay.

There is a heart game
that giggles and grins and cares....

I wanna go that way.

Artistic Touch

~Artistic Touch~ Go down on my thoughts taste my perception Touch me in all non physical ways I need what is considered to be the exception Show my heart colors in brilliant arrays Give me artistic orgasms in multiple Let enlightenment drip from my ears Others may find it to be incomprehensible Don't let touch be what interferes

Doors

Which door is the portal to my soul?
Listening tires me; interferes with
God beckoning me.

Why is a question never answered?
Quit asking it. Listen, there is a
voice calling you;

this great soul Mother of the Earth,
let me take charge of my birth.

I'll go to the banquet; eat,
rejoice and celebrate anew.

This joy is confusing. But I'll be
full of life when I come to you.

With the Blank Faces

Her gait strides past me with captivation
Nothingtheless howling with tranquility;
That tranquil soul lingers with inevitably.
The forcing blow left me in a billowing nation,
Pondering this thought ‘is this my revelation?’

The next unique soul has an intruding pace
In a decelerated motion unlike her peers.
Although the great wall of wind interferes,
Who could dare replace
Our hearts embrace?

Sport

How vagueness interferes
my mind, not plot
to being - I am here - and here, why not?

So wander graphically,
no difference - still in flock,
a oneness qualifies my soul's begot!

For here, survival only clinches - what,
as real as truth is only care's report,
Am I - Am I increasing this distort!

So take all else - but take me not in sport,
God's servant asks for trust,
...but finds extort!

Premium Member Not the End of the Road

I SEE THE BEND

When I'm bogged down by fears,
Crumbling under life's great load,
When I'm blinded by tears
Nearing the end of the road,

Then my God interferes,
As my True Friend on the road,
He carries me and cheers,
I feel His mercy bestowed;

When He's LORD of all spheres,
It's not the end of the road,
My mind's fog disappears,
I see the bend of the road.

The Sun's On Fire

When I look through
My telescope I can see
The burning sun
As it lets out
Radioactive rays
That spreads throughout
The universe
Affecting our planet
It also sends out negative rays
That interferes with people
And the environment
It affects the weather
Sea levels and crops
Causing the unthinkable
To the atmosphere
And human lives
Because the world is
Out of balance

Premium Member Connections and Beliefs

We seem like stars lighting a cold dark sky,
separated from others (so lonely).
It makes me want to breathe a somber sigh,
If we could be together (if only)."
Yet, we are kept apart not by light years,
but by things we believe (or know) are right.
I think these beliefs are what interferes,
leaving us in our lonesome, friendless plight.
Folks want connection before they rest,
but it's in their beliefs that they invest.

Too Late

People say it's too late for us...
As we get of life's bus,
And travel our separate directions;
But our sparks are disguised as explosions.
All we want is to love but time interferes,
And distance serves as loves boundaries...

It is said love come slow...
And we little time before we go.
If it is to be love will prevail,
But regret will make us fail.
I wish I could tell you but I know not how.
If only you would read this here and now...

Being Human

Bring a smile to gloomy lips
Excitement to a weary heart
Ignite passion in lost causes
Never think before sharing the
Graces bestowed upon you
He or she who lives these rules
Understands that the life and the superior
Mind of humans is for sustenance of all living beings
Always maintains harmony and balance in nature
Never interferes with God’s plans.

Premium Member Aspect Allowing

That that was hitherto hidden from us, in time is revealed. The ego impatient, as a doer, interferes, impeding flow of the current, thereby delaying our soul progress. The path clear: we must vaporise ego! Unable to use mind to transcend mind. we melt into the void of stillness, going within in quietude; in tranquil joy solitude. No one here resident, save child innocent, unresistant, allowing bliss to flow. 06-November-2020

Missing Out

I heard I missed a lovely day –
It had been planned for weeks –
But life is filled with ups and downs;
We can’t reach all the peaks.

The unexpected sometimes
Interferes with our intent,
Preventing our participation
In a set event.

The thing to do is shrug it off;
It wasn’t meant to be,
Though disappointment is
To be expected, guarantee.

There will be other happy times
In which we’ll play a part,
For only on occasion
Do we tip the apple cart.
