The ultimate indulgence…
blind acceptance
All standards rescinded
—all judgment forlorn
(Dreamsleep: October, 2019)
Sacred in its offering,
christening the past
Wellspring of indulgence
—running free at last
(Dreamsleep: April, 2021)
Morbid Fascination?
Eccentric arbitrary
Pseudo Sadistic
Indulgence?
Same Thing?
You bring Abomination,
I'll bring the booze.
George Clooney ….
Smothered in rich dark melted chocolate

Show him the path for the onus is yours
Observe to know his indulgence
Never mind his recalcitrance only be persistent
Sun rises birds sing
indulge a craving for soul
first meal of the day

Does every indulgence begin
and end in sex?
How far away is every
trench-coated slam poet
from spewing illicit
half-kids onto
the front row?
tension in the air
mistakes previously forgotten
brought forth by another
sorrow fills the mind
indulgence of the flesh
quash dreams of the soul

A sweet aroma wafts by
Lamb, onions, I cry
Enjoyed in my youth were those
Creamy potatoes,
Peas, spices and cheese
Shepherd’s Pie

Myriad patterns we have created ~
They represent desires unabated
There is no harm per say in illusion ~
It’s indulgence that causes delusion

I was knighted by the queen, I think
When I gate crashed the ball wearing pink
She said “goodnight I say”
“Guards take him away”
Due to the over indulgence of drink
bohemian indulgence
monk mode renunciation
both wishing to be elsewhere
away from the here and now
are caught in egoic glue
wallowing in shallows

Digging through the sweetest of a fine soft solid substance,
Looking for the velvety amber caramels and chocolates,
But such indulgence all too often renders them as delicates.
That indulgence
Giggled him, her
Through a quick ran and jumped in
Cool-splashed water
As remote, Age
Relating to
Lands, fierce-blown, desert-faced
Fruit, smooth with dew.
(Before Sentencing.)
They called him ‘Poor Boy’
a victim of life’s promise...
a voice without love
neither percipient of
nor an indulgence in it.

damage to the
what if this
what if that-
complete & utter
loss.
blood runs;
the sauce
of sin
beckoning,
condemning indulgence
to continuance,
wearing out those
wicked wants.
Sipping cappuccino
imbibing its flavour
we allow indulgence
a little leeway to revel
offering to the vast void
aroma of sensory delight

My love was the springtime
In season
In bloom for you alone
Bearing the fruit of love
for you to harvest
Your appetite for me was
A seasonal indulgence
My love for you was
Never-ending
too much whipped cream
on the half-calf latte of over indulgence
a little more as the cup empties
& we try to fill the void
then your whole mouth just tastes like dairy
& you want to throw up
scarcely
minded
an
eventual
indulgence
an added
lustre
to life
natural
& normal
isolated
idosyncratic

Sunday afternoons were for reading
She'd get lost in worlds of fantasy
Of mystery and adventure
She'd escape and let her mind wander
To far corners of the world and beyond

I fear
the flavor of fruitfulness,
the fullness of tables,
burden bent
by fleeting bounty
I dread the feast;
festivals
of frivolous indulgence
because I know
Famine rides hardest
where blessings rot.
Curled up with a book and a chai tea latte
All the cares of the day disappear from sight.
It's a sinfully good indulgence to end the day
And relaxes me as my day becomes night.
Perhaps a second cup? Yes, I just might.
Treasure inside thy womb
excruciate pain,
tears that fall.
a years of graveyards,
fading glance.
dried petals,
dying desires.
Losing glamour and indulgence.
in exchanged of love,
to our dearest one.
