Life Is Lie

This life is a big lie some say

It’s fun in some way

Lie and fun in life like twins

In life no fun is lie

If f for fun in life

Without f what?

Premium Member Bruised

We all get bruised at times in our lives,
People use us all in some way,
Acquaintances, Husbands and Wives.
Unwittingly we all do it too,
Yes, even YOU....

Brainy Brevity

So, brain injury,
A poem of brevity,
This is all I have to say.
We are all today,
Dain bramaged in some way,
Their labels are not you,
It could be them next too! (29/12/2018)

In some way, shape, or changing form,

It seems that I’ve fallen for you,

It’s intoxicating, what do I do?

It seems my heart has fallen out of the norm.

Weaving

Sum of life and stories,
of stories life's become,
of dreams concerning yesterday's,
work, and play, and run.
Left behind impressions,
molded in some way,
weaving into hearts;
although gone,
they stay.

The Chain

Everything we do counts.
It all matters in some way.
Every action that we take.
Every word that we might say.

A cause creates an action.
An action creates consequence.
That's the chain of command,
In the chain of events.

Premium Member Before My Dying Breath

Give me once today,
To say and make it all be clear.
I wish somehow and in some way,
That she will soon be here.

I long for no one else;
She's the one I wish to have.
Before my dying breath,
May our hearts be joined at last.

Premium Member Christmas Things

My all-time favorite books include Christmas in some way
Santa Claus, Jesus, North Pole and candy canes dancing away
Frosty and Jack Frost are on the fringe of my utmost fave.
Christmas messages, stories and songs are what I crave.

Premium Member Guess Who

Like the eye of a hurricane
         the epicenter of the storm

      Every day in some way
        at risk for harm

      A face like granite
        commanding the planet

      Squeezed into the middle
~ it’s hot on the griddle

Premium Member My Uncle Died Today

My uncle died today
I don't know what to say
He was my fave.

Full of vim and vigor
Didn't need gun and a trigger
To have his say.

Slightly misogynist
But ain't the best of us
Flawed in some way?

I'll miss Abbott.
Has been my habit
To love him every single day.

What Do You See

While squatting down the boy had such
Innocent attraction on display
A handful of acorns loved so much
Each unique, to him in some way!

As an adult what do you see?
Look through a child's eyes when you do
You'll see God's creations are unique
Even when it's just a nut like you!

Premium Member Cavort

butterflies cavort in the hanging pears.... storm brews across sea
I looked it up and they now say that theory is not true, but it is true that small items, animals, tremors, etc. do affect the whole world in some way. In so speaking, "The Butterfly Effect".
Form: Haiku

Choices

We make choices
Every day,
Whether they are
Small or large.
They affect our lives,
In some way.

So, if you are ever in doubt,
About what to do;
Ask a parent
Or a teacher
And they will help you decide,
The perfect road to choose.

Just from making a decision,
Will make a difference
In whom you are today.
Form: Rhyme

Changes

Despite the endless tears,
And all the unknown fears,
Endings must always be,
If change is to be free.

Memories are left behind,
Urging you onward to find
A beginning, so new
Only found by so few.

“Goodbye” is so bittersweet,
Footfalls echoing heartbeat,
Yet it’s only forward now,
In some way and somehow.

Wishes of An Old Writer

I wish I could write everyday
Of my life

In some way, shape or form
Some type

Some expression

My life is cool
At times
Especially my quiet one
From my quiet side of mind

Infinite emotions

Wandering this rippled-ocean

Of a morning in the woods

Bluish-light through shaded blinds

Guilty

What you fail to realize is
Every shade of light from night to day cast a shadow in some way.
A ripple effect of what has taken place.
Stay true, for only one holds eternal grace. everything will be brought into sight
Consequence and ramifications brought to light.

Premium Member I Truly Do Love You

I will love you in every way.
I will always love you in some way.

I will love you everyday.
I will always love you no matter what others say.

I will love you until you feel okay.
I will always love you no matter what you say.

I will love you throughout any day.
I will always love you until my dying day.

If I Could

If I could write a poem I would
but I doubt if it would be much good.
I can’t wax lyrical and shout
of virtues I feel nowt about.
I need to have something to say
regarding love,
or in some way
on need and longing
or want and wronging.
Things about a heart’s complaint
and there ain’t
a lot of rhymes
for sorry.

Premium Member Soft Spot Deep Within

You occupy a soft spot deep within,
so how could I,
so removed from your day to day,
ever want you to repress any part of yourself,
and expect all the other parts to work well.
Knowing you are experiencing some satisfaction,
where you choose to seek it,
warms in some way, even far away,
the unselfish part of my being.

Premium Member Magnets In the Beginning

When we first met it had seemed such a sure bet,
that it wasn't a bet at all.
It was visceral, a feeling originating from deep within.
If we were in the same room, or far away
it was as if we swallowed powerful magnets,
and were drawn to each other.
Felt like we had to be together.
Felt like we had to touch in some way.

I Want You

take my lips,
cut my throat,
kill me in some way,
love me all the way,
don't break my heart
please stay with me awhile,
i can't sleep without you,
i can't eat without you,
your the only reason i stay alive,
but now you put me down,
with everything you will never know,
but never forget me,
and i will never forget you.

I'm the Problem

It's not like I can tell you I love you
How would I even say it?
Those three words?
They don't mean anything anymore
We've all heard them so many times (in some way or another), that it's practically an old cliché
As true as it might be, we'll never imbibe the meaning
Not as long as poets like me exist
We have ruined the impact

The Future

No matter how little the power, you can still be used in some way. We might be useless but in at some point we might turn out useful too. Even a little power could change the future of the world. That's why we must always be focused and not let that moment slip away."right there's so many broken paths we take everyday, lets try to find the right path.

The Drunk and the Liar.

Liars can't be trusted.

Drunks never learn.

Bitches always hatin'.

I'm the one who's gonna get hurt.

I learned to trust the liar.

The drunk is never there

Set my soul on fire.

Put me through more despair.

Live to love the liar.

The drunk became your lover.

In some way I became inspired.

By the drunk and the liar.

My Train

People that stare, people that glare and people that simply don't care,
Hot people, tense people and people who's life isn't fair,
People who don't want to talk, poor people and people who are lonely & sad,
Shabbily dressed, barely washed, ill mannered and some who are plainly bad,
Good people, sometimes, polite people, rarely and people in some way are glad.
