sense impels
                                                      quality compels

One

I will flow
where the energy
of love impels me
to flow—

just as wild rivers
pursue the pull of the
distant waves—to
each kiss from the salt
of the ocean—

to become whole—
One.

Distort of sounds strum his bow —sawed heart rhythms,
mischievous fool impels my mind's rapt boredom.
The devil's finger warns and pivots, sedates,
adrift among alleged stolen dreamscapes.
The jester sleeps all day, perplexed I awake.

Intrinsic awareness channeled through time Impels the cognitive basic impulses incessant Intones the echoing rhythm of benign bliss Inside the emptiness of resonating perception. Invisible life force abhors vacuum pervasive Imbues the void with the essence of divinity.

Abrupt

Irkish the feeling impels
Impulsive of it's own action.
Disfigurely quenching,
And on it's feet it commands
A riot so clenching
Flinching the heart's
Utmost fibres none can comprehend.
"Xeno" it calls aloud
For it looks in it's shadows.
Perkish, yet Meek, and sleek
As it sneeks around alert for
It's next prey to be caged.

The Last Goodbye

The time has come to bid farewell
To all these earthly toils and cares
To nobler heights the soul impels
The time has come to bid farewell
And join the angels where they dwell
Now comes the climb up Jacob's stairs
The time has come to bid farewell
To all these earthly toils and cares.

Soul Over Body

Worry, impels you
Faster now, to the grave
If we don't take this shell
Why attach such importance
to its tribulations
The soul rises above
Its existence
Taking lessons
Not finer details

Our bodies are collateral
Sacrifices, to the reality
Of after life
Our time here
Is the heaven and hell
Based on moral choice

When our trial is done
And imperfections, atoned
We become everything
And leave none
Alone

On the Brink of Night

My wife and I stroll hand in hand
As evening drops its lilac veil
When, off the river, stirs a chill,
Which sends her cuddling to my arms
With face upturned to taste my lips—
The gloaming brightens as we kiss.

For quite a while, that pose we hold:
Two lovers on the brink of night
‘Neath wisps of salmon cirrus clouds
‘Til twilight’s purple, darker hue
Impels us to return back home,
Arriving on the cusp of love.

born with a fierce urge
       to create
         to express
            to emote
soul gifts that pour into the body
and must be released

you cannot imagine the driving force
that impels them
       exposes them
and the risks they will take

a rare and precarious existence
       the pure creative expression
of sensitive souls easily abused

To Compel Is To Repel

Does it not the sight repel
Trying to others compel
Against their wish on a thing
And their ‘’No!’’ did loudly ring?

It can’t to Heaven propel
Deeds that could students expel;
For which phoned cops could one swing;
And one starts flaps of a wing!

Or can one the claim dispel
That mischief maker impels?

God knows that the best defense
Against every felt offence
Is that you’d sat on the fence
Not the counter you offer
Nor the hard blows you prefer.

We, here now, mind body, as an aspect of absoluteness, by outpouring ourself into the thought projection to feel by touch, limit ourself, by melding into forms created, as a momentary hypnotic trance. Dreamer as both the subject and object, having now ensouled the illusions, feels separate from other forms, whilst also thus unaware of himself as dreamer, having so conjured movie enacted as desire impels us. 23-February-2021

Delivery

A living poem, not yet written,
not yet visible, haunts the periphery
of the inner eye.

She is as light as a feather,
though she has a deep-set gravity,
her presence impels my mind toward her.

Which way to seek?
The poem that is not yet created
is a womb both empty and full,
its potential
demands subservience.

A dark machinery makes love,
to the unsubstantial,
and one single insight is born,

from that seed within a seed,
she nakedly comes,
now you must dress her.

My love is powerful like a Roman's
Shield
Brutal weapons of lust i won't
Conceal
Magestic beauty impels my emotions like
Spears
My senses become dull when your so
Near
Incoherent are my words because it's
Hard to speak
Playing our bodies like instruments dancing heart beats
You call me a God because kings rarely
Measure
A pronounced but ofcourse a seldom
Pleasure
Love is living and pain buried away
Like dust
Gently silence of the world as passion enfolds us
