To Compel Is To Repel

Does it not the sight repel Trying to others compel Against their wish on a thing And their ‘’No!’’ did loudly ring? It can’t to Heaven propel Deeds that could students expel; For which phoned cops could one swing; And one starts flaps of a wing! Or can one the claim dispel That mischief maker impels? God knows that the best defense Against every felt offence Is that you’d sat on the fence Not the counter you offer Nor the hard blows you prefer.
