snow hushes the night~
moonlight on tinsel whispers
waiting for your step
Mind's minute mirage may muffle,
But biding by blinding brings burns.
Severely she'll sunder, so scuffle,
'Til tomorrow, tomorrow turns.
It brings beauty,
It brings joy.
Beauty, love, stregnth,
All of these it brings.
It hushes the songbirds,
It quiets the forest.
It fills me up,
When I hear the notes.
Form:
A place that gives wings to my dreams
And hushes my fears, worries and screams
Where I’d develop stronger wings to fly
Rising so higher, touching the blue sky
That I dream and pray it ends not as dream
Day-after-day the widow
"listens out for the ordinary"
and hears only susurrant voices
until deafness overcomes her

glow
stirs,
quiet
spirals rise,
sun-tuned murmurs bloom,
shaping warm chromatic hushes,
petals are soft ciphers of radiant symmetry,
gathering sun gold light into one slow-turning, bright ring of living geometry.
Sky ornate with starlit shimmer,
a pallid moon leers through a smother of cloud.
Wind in sporadic subtleness hushes through a clash of trees
as a lulling stream in synchrony
entices one to harmony
Deep within im smiling.
When we speak
some whispers
sense a hiss,
encumbered hushes
say nothing...
When we ask
how chances lost
remind us why
Each sentence tears
a willing smile down
If by chance again we asked
...nothing good
would emerge
Form:
a velvet brocade of ultramarine
hushes melodic whispers stirred from the gardens
where lovers prolong their goodbyes

ice
brushing..
repeating...
it's winter song..
snow falling, twirling
a lonely sparrow cries
frozen vines turn to windchimes
scribbled trees in vision withdraw
ghosts are singing in the blizzard's roar
an ice river hushes in frozen awe.
we're so out of touch
there's no life outside our sphere~~~
hands touching bodies
time hushes to hear
expressions of love's longing~~~
nothing else exists
surging while merging:
two bodies becoming one~~~
sweet oblivion

Putting cards in a play box
Treating wise men to joys.
Looking sideways at an old sock
Beating tin cups on toys.
Imprinting faces in the carpet,
Sleeping soundly, bum in the air.
Mum picks me up, loving me quietly,
Hushes me to lulling-land, fingers through my hair.
... in the rhythmic swishing
of the ebb tide hesitantly
leaving the sandy shoal,
something there hushes
down the turmoils, tremors
of the tormented, weary soul ...
In the house of criticisms
the wall is lined with mirrors
echoing reflections of those
who brawl, spewing hate
and criticisms that stunt
progress or emotional evolution,
The house quakes from the
venomous quips, that are spoken
in hushes, traveling to the hearts
of unsuspecting souls.......
Romantic shadows of
Luminous love
Lend intense warmth
To a midsummer night as
Sensuous fragrance,
Shimmering moonlight,
Combine in nature's backdrop
While a quartet of flutes
At the water's edge
Enhances spectral mists and
Hushes soft laughter
For a moment of nocturnal tranquility.
In the rhythmic swishing
of the dawn's ebb tide
that hesitantly leaves
the soft, sandy shoal,
something there hushes
down the cold turmoil,
the trembling, the fear
of the weary, urban soul.
Long walks at night
A cold breath freezes my soul
The moon warms it up
She shines in my body,
But my blind eyes cannot see it
I was told she had a face like a clock
She spots the thieves by the garden wall
She hushes children
And charms the flowers
to close their eyes
Until the rooster sings his song
I just wonder why
Woods are moving as I passed by.
I hear silent hushes from the swamp,
It’s like gentle beat in my mind
My rhythmic footsteps
Crunches of dried leaves
A calm wind floating
Let me fly and feel the air!
Giant leaves in the forest
Filled with misty fogs
Coated with mystery
Such an enchantment.
He walks into the bar
Like a movie star
With swagger
Out pouring the lager
Topped by a mop
Of such mythical proportion
It hushes the crowd
With its absorption
More adorn
Than a unicorn
Waving a pompadour
As big as a brontosaur

Birds bedded down. The cool air circulates.
Whispers of crickets. The black noise hushes.
Yawns give way to tears - the ducts erupting.
An autumnal wave crashes over me.
It’s obvious how seasons come and go,
as mom’s settled in purple urn - the ashes
keep; without incandescence in her sleep.
Woman, you fan the fading flame of my mortality.
Nestled here in your warmth, blissful, soft serenity
that soothes and hushes down all hurt rememberings
of triumphs lost, of losses gained, of untold sufferings.
The spell of your charm seduces, to treachery leads,
as I grope, as I fumble about, as my lifeblood bleeds !
A bright and beautiful blanket of snow
Silently hushes earth below spring shows
White heavenly glory this covering brings
You’ll see its splendor uncovered in spring
Earths radiant colors will then unveil
New life within this warmth revealed
The blanket lifted will then expose
The warmth and love that God enclosed
artic chill
of polar snow
storm censor
black ice
hushes
moonlight nomad’s frozen
scream

NB The artic chill conditions are a metaphor silencing and censoring the excluded homeless nomad.
Silence breathes, inhaling
Beautiful thoughts, poetry of the heart
Exhaling dreams, wonders
In the spirit’s warmth, the inspiration
Creativity so calm it hushes away
The dark, bringing light its dignity, its grace

A kiss is such a simple thing
tells a friend
come back again.
Hushes a child in the rain
takes away
their tiny pain.
Lets a parent feel secure
filling them
to the core.
Warms a lovers crimson face
sparks a love
two hearts will chase.
A kiss is such a simple thing
just two lips
such joy can bring.
