Winter Song

ice
brushing..
repeating...
it's winter song..
snow falling, twirling
a lonely sparrow cries
frozen vines turn to windchimes
scribbled trees in vision withdraw
ghosts are singing in the blizzard's roar
an ice river hushes in frozen awe.
