Hum ditty hum
Fathom my fumbling thumbs
My fat fingers were fiddling
A tune that was middling
Never a merrier man than me
De dum, de dum, de dubbity dum,
These blues, in seven, I hum,
I hum as I stroll all over the place,
De dum, de dum, de dum.

Thanks be to God
I have a talking dog named Hum
Every time a biscuit I give him some
Till one day it wasn't enough
The bugger went ruff ruff
And took a bloody chunk outa me bum
I bet moonbees sting
And zap when they zing
I'll wager it's true
They love flowers too...
In hot Texas heat
At high-noon we meet
She guns me down cold
With bullets of gold
Sing a little song to help your day along
Hum a little tune by the light of the moon
Music lightens heavy burdens
Eases stress, relieves pain
~ Carries you gently o'er life's sweet refrain
The whiff a nasty niff a strong pong
may be earth-shaking
but if we do me and you
beautiful music we'll be making
when I break out my guitar
and strum a song
then you remove your shoes
and hum along
I listen on your belly
Moist subcutaneous gurgles
Brown nipples above my eyes
Your fingers stroke my brow
Fleshy mines inside
Gastric wonders active hive
Imagined by the sound
The living hum
My heart is thumping mad
Vivid
Earth
Naturally
Upholds
Sea,
Sky,
And
Landscape,
As
Zenith
Above

The hum of sunrise
Awakens the day.
Cutting the familiar wake
Of an old butter knife
Un-noticed
Silent swans
Skirting the lily pads
Pass sunning turtles
Wary eyed muskrats
And bug-eyed frogs.

So we named her Caren Krutsinger

A darling dear;
Destroyed my poem through a ringer.

Road rumbles
through wind roaring leaves
Shod hooves tap rhythm
On tarmac drum skin
Fresh washed and dried
in Summer rain and sun
A catbird and wren
Compete for center stage
As bush and branch
Sway in the waltzing wind’s
Life scented wetness
I was going to write a nice little poem
all about love, beauty, etcetera - an anthem
but cheery words simply would not come
instead, a sad song I just started to hum
now, I am feeling rather down and glum
– ho hum!
Thoughts a float,
who should say?
Speak up speak up this is your day.
Safety in hope rest more.
I see you only to reveal myself.
An expression with a funny face,
distorted even.
Time on time we surf,
waving in between.
Hello, I love you.
What a feeling.
Here's yours and thanks for mine
Candy bars are so benign
For vibrating sex toys do we pine
~ And for an extra treat, a bottle of wine
