Blue Steel
Leather haberdashery, leather holster,
Blue steel, steady hands
Nerves controlled,
eye on the mark,
Squeeze, slow and steady,
Eruption and bullseye....

Perturbed By Each Pollster
Perturbed By Each Pollster

Politicians are perturbed by each pollster;
Their popularity would refuse to bolster;
Are annoyed;
Not enjoyed;
Should have parked mouth in his holster.

She’d statuesque legs, and eyes that smoulder
Over came Jacques, tipped her on the shoulder
              ‘Excuse-moi, femme fatal’
              ‘J’adore’ your bearded pal
“Does she have ‘un pistolet’ or holster?”

Do Not Tarry My Son
do not tarry
but
do not tarry
somethings
are not of this earth
to worry about
now listen
my son
just bring me
my holster
and
bring me my gun
while
just to keep one foot out of the grave
and
do not tarry my son...

Premium Member Apocalypse
At the apex of the hellstorm Came Salvation in maidenform Cold silence emanating from her lips Her method of talk strapped around her hips A tie-down, two-holster, two-gun rig That legend called th— “The Apocalypse.” The masses interrupted in a whisper Again the masses whispered “The Apocalypse.”

There was a cowboy from Arkansas
Who bragged that he was quick on the draw
   They superglued his holster
   Before he dueled a gangster
He doesn't brag much any more – nah!

Bolster Polster Who Has Holster
Bolster Polster Who Has Holster

What has been required is to bolster,
Someone who is an accurate pollster;
Fully grown;
Job known,
With writing material found in holster.

Jim Horn

I do believe that God gave me a gift
that I should be utilizing and taking
advantage of. Just think of how may
talents are just laying around and
going to waste....

Premium Member Unlucky Jim Part One
Bank robber Jim was one unlucky bloke
Went to draw his gun but the holster broke
It dropped on the bank floor
And went off with a roar
The shock was too much and he had a stroke...

Though he was unconscious he hadn't died
Woke in a coffin for his final ride
In a desparate bid
Banged on the coffin lid
But all he could hear was laughing outside...

Sober
Why can’t we just be sober?
drink from the wine of love,
leave without giving what you’ve owed her.
Why can’t we just be sober?
sip from the glass of pestilence,
delinquent’s smile while you empty the holster.
Why can’t we just be sober?
gulp from the goblet of power,
oppress the innocent to become the boaster.
Why can’t we just be sober?
Or honest with ourselves about the monster.
The soul is a drunkard,
always thirsty in it’s bunker....

Venting
I got a hair pin trigger
Got a holster on my hip
Put a nickel on my needle
So my record don't skip

My attitude is ugly
There's no beauty in my beast
My attention span is faulty
And my anger has increased

I got a nasty disposition
Got a thirst I cannot quench
It smells like broken spirit
I can hardly stand the stench

I got a sudden disconnection
Lug the load that's on my mind
I am NOT your great sensation
I'm the son that never shined
