Notes About The Poem

Pardon moi french

She’d statuesque legs, and eyes that smoulder
Over came Jacques, tipped her on the shoulder
              ‘Excuse-moi, femme fatal’
              ‘J’adore’ your bearded pal
“Does she have ‘un pistolet’ or holster?”

I just love that your limerick is in French, and that the words chosen are easy for the reader to figure out. Drôle et exceptionnel! Cherchez La Femme

Heya Pangie delighted to see you, my French too is pretty sketchy, so I picked some words here that almost translate themselves, glad you had a laugh anyway! Happy new year!! Cheers David

My French isn't brilliant but I think I'd opt for the holster lol. Tom

Definitely the holster would indeed be quite fitting for this upstanding Limerick Tom lol! Cheers David

Was the answer “Oui, oui, Monsieur, or a nasal, “Non.” Great conversation and imagery.
