Fictional detective Sherlock Holmes
Worthy subject for my poem.
His sleuthing skills may be tested
But the criminals are always arrested.
It sucks to be me
so beautiful
free
That's how I make a livin
being the what you need
A buck at a time
pays my rent

so spent
Mr. Sherlock Holmes
has by now studied a good many forensic tomes
as much as they matter

We ALL have color
yes
our color will fade
We accept this
Not dissapointed
For a Few it must be
Our color is set free
Leaving our stain
Till our loved ones can join us
for memaw

My soldiers, they deserve

If Sherlock was sleuthing today,
the baddies would groan in dismay,
to prison they'd go,
remorseful, they'd know
that (fictional) crime doesn't pay...

Poe is hour after hour
now studied the way a murder is
by Alfred Hitchcock or Sherlock Holmes
long-lived even in death,
he suffers in hell
through our eyes on the page

He's such an excellent sleuth
and will uncover the truth

deceivin me
