The fog played hide-and-seek

There is simplicity inside the eye that opens oh so wide to pain
Then closes to release the grain and rest the mind to hide again.
Everywhere you go
the ocean follows you
it never leaves you alone
no matter how hard you
try to play hide and seek on the shore
Ember fired sunrise
Mother dawns sleepy slit eyes
Fahrenheit in flux
azure skies stretch overhead
Puffy clouds play hide and seek
tucked against the wind
winter’s game of hide and seek
headless ducks on ice

A Nature Themed Haiku Poetry Contest
"let's play hide and seek!"
the moment you're gone,
was the last thing i wanted.
we were both on a plank,
and that's how it ended.
Hide and seek, they constantly play
life and death; involved in the game
the target is caught; the fame ends.
seductive moon rose
joyful clouds played hide and seek
mesmerizing night!

A kiss on your cheek.
Mom play hide and seek with me.
Close eyes do not peek!
Recalling my Grandmomma who raised me from the age of two.
Tree shadow laughing
Underneath ivory puffs
Intermittently

I play hide and seek with tragedy
No matter where I run it always finds me
As I'm pushed closer to the edge I can see
That love will be the death of me
death plays hide and seek
seize the day
by its vulgar horns

In night’s loneliness
The moon whispered to me gently
Let’s play hide-and-seek
So I closed my eyes
Counted from one up to ten
The moon’s gone, I cried
Finding happiness
Compares to hide and seek play
Hiding without clue
Reserved only to a few
To taste its lasting effect

There was a girl talking in rhyme
She thought she could perform in mime
Never knew how to read
Neither play hide and seek
She was caught penning an eye rhyme.
Bright
Full moon
In Christmas
Eve rainy night
Offers a great sight
As hide and seek
Moon occults
The light

Rich man covered eyes counting to 1,003
rich friend jumped in lear jet to flee
flew to Brazil
is there still
waiting to be found hiding behind tree.

Nothing to hide in words
Just glimpse to what is drawn
Open hidden deep side in knight
As always feel playing hide and seek
Catching breath as to be the other one
The sport I love is Hide and Seek
I try to hide for at least a week
I hide when her mom comes by
If not I would surely die
I know she's close when (it) starts to speak
Hide and Seek
We played hide and seek with each other for a long time
Until there was no place to hide
And lo behold ! what did we find !!
“ PERFECT LOVE”
Life is like a game
of hide and seek.
It hides flowers sometimes
and shows thorns in peak.
I only see flowers
through my eyes
and ignore the thorns
because I am wise.

Playing hide and seek with my clever pug
I hid in the closet snug as a bug
Tired of looking for me
She turned on the T.V.
And watched Lassie curled up on the rug
