When the flakes of white
Upon thy road light
Let not it bring thee to heel
Place floor mat beneath thy wheel
I have interconnected to my feet in front as my heel sustains my walk

Did ever I tell you, sweetie,
About my grandpa Tweety?
See how you feel
In a cage, you heel,
While I'm off in Tahiti!
The out of space clowns were real
They turned humans into a heel
But they forgot one
Who had a clown gun
And turned into a wheel

My fibrous cord who
attach the muscles of

sometimes as sharp as

Lies like a horse
I know this rumor will die, bye and bye.

HIGH HEEL SHOE BEATDOWN
Wildlife 49
An ageing yet droll cockatiel,
Had plumage a bit down at heel,
He performed a sad song,
And the flock sang along,
For they knew his rendition was real!

Sometimes I dream about
that I could throw myself away
to a warm island with birds
and use my heel for this project
on my heel
you can find
the most powerful string
on my body
Buttery notes melt; run across strings of nylon; a song is born.
Staccato tap dance; leaping tones, echo each heel and toe tap.
The beauty of a classical guitar song, rides the air.
A chagrined clown hung his head in shame
for the disgrace of what he became,
when an opportune slip of the heel,
on a discarded banana peel,
got a pretty good laugh just the same.
Was once a display
The sudden eye ambition
Trusty appendage
The hind to the heel
Broken in to much appeal
A preferable feel
Inspired by Raul Moreno’s “still life” contest!
Listen to poem:
The long-legged lass in ruddy tights
struts her stuff like high-heeled stilts.
Each step a flouncing prance,
an elegant dance on heel-up stance,
that flaunts the body to pose, poised.

an stagger down the road,

just freedom to seek with patience,

There once was a car with no steering wheel
It could stop an inch from the back of your heel.
It went where it wanted to go
And refused to drive in thick snow
So we decided it was clearly no deal
One man and his dog,
walking for a bob,
teaching the dog to heel,
resisting his masters feel,
taking him back to the field,
to run this poor dog rugged,
he needs a cuddle and a hug,
to make it home to mummy.
