Whatever was begun without due heed
And all that was not properly conceived,
Although a promise and a pledge were given,
It is right to hesitate — to press on or draw back.

Silence
Vacuums noise
Stillness
Shelters poise

Stillness
Needs no voice
Silence
Seeds new poise

Unseen
Poise knows choice
Within
A deep poise

Quatrain #42:
HEED

Heed then the need within your heart,
Seed that fond feed as joy now starts;
Go beyond greed to find your soul,
Sift through the weed to find your art.

Heed Nature

My happiness! Shout out to nature. Trust in her for she helps. Her sunny face, full of smiles. She greets the world, her warmth a gift. One day respite, grab those rays. Winter waits up Falls sleeve. Heed natures warning! Have no regrets.

Premium Member Heed Thine Own Advice

The First Lady wants us all to lose weight

Have you seen her from the stern as of late

          Eat smaller portions says she

               Well here is my repartee

Heed thine own advice before you dictate

Take Heed

We must take courage to look at, can,
That dirge and the tragedy of Hiroshima,
To conclude and rationalise if we can,
That throbbing, deathly, vile panorama.

We did it, we conceived of it,
We intentioned that statement said,
So let that blood statement ourselves hit,
And blossom in purple and red.

Heed

I heard your voice
come ringing out
It came with a whisper
instead of a shout

It told me the price
of life
That I'd have to pay
So I plugged up my ears
until the outside world
went away

I didn't heed the warning
so now I struggle
every day

Maybe I'll start listening
again
When the whole world
just goes
away

Heed To My Advice, I Pead

Calmly proceed,
It is the need,
Show no speed,
To you, I plead,
Do a good deed,
Sow love-seed,
Minds, you read,
Remove weed,
Life you lead
With joy indeed,
Don't spoon-feed,
If you have agreed
To remove greed,
I will gladly proceed,
As you will succeed,
Make not truth bleed,
Feel never worried,
Limits, never exceed!

Premium Member how many will heed

I imagine the heavens opening up
Angels giving us a little talk
Asking us to be kind
Not only to our friends, but to everyone we meet

Showing us a video of how wonderful life can be
When everyone looks out for the greater good
How many will heed?
How many will listen?

Sadly, some might think it is a trick
A trap
Something from the devil
I feel sorry for those people

Premium Member Heed a Volcano Warning

May 18th, 1980
Mt. St. Helen erupted.
It was expected, many had escaped a bad fate.
Some opted to stay, wanting to go down in glory.
Two thousand square miles of trees were destroyed.
Mt. Pinatubo erupted eleven years later.
Both of these events reminiscent of the destruction of Pompeii.
Where twenty thousand people were not warned.
Many discovered permanently covered in molten lava
Volcanoes are no joke; heed her warnings my friend.

Heed

I hate this place where no one knows me
those I know think me low
my state of mind far from cozy
no one here to say hello

I put my hand out for no return
people hurt me oh how I learn
now I never show concern
never care when it’s your turn

In their need I came through
in my need they did not
next time they’ll expect me too
I’ve given all I’ve got

In your hour of need
nobody comes through
the lesson you must heed
you only ever have you

a longing to be with someone
to have someone to love and hold
maybe we can be together
oh that you say that you will
i'll tell you of a sweet night night together
one that involves me and you
i stretch my hands to thee
thee oh lord
