Her face showed he'd come off as predal
Now it was too late to backpedal
"Stupid wins prizes,"
She shouts, "of all sizes,"
Her handprint now worn like a medal

I found a fossil hiding
near something overgrown,
a historical handprint etched
in a slab of ancient stone.
I trace the imprint idly
and marvel at its design-
the grooves coil and curve around,
and then become entwined.

I am always so addicted
to each word that is left unsaid;
Every wound is self inflicted
Go right ahead, go right ahead;
Pain soothed by being quiet
bonding my scars with your toolkit;
Tracing the lines as you see fit,
healing handprint, healing handprint.

Manic canvas daze
Splashing teary blue
Handprint red
Torn out strands of aging grays
Emotions of tirades spent
Manic canvas daze
Cherry change of mood
Orange ray kisses spread
Green sorrys spray
Yellow smiles meant
Manic canvas daze
Really only white or black

An empty hand, not so empty...
Once held dreams not dreamed...
A lasting handprint that's still felt...
Just a pen to glide and script...
Aged with lines that held a past...
My book of life that came at last...
Feel and read me with intimate eyes...
And I'll touch your lips with passionate cries...

In a mystery that starts with an abduction,
And ends in what might be the perfect crime,
I noted, with a sigh of resignation,
How evidence depends on space and time.
There was little that gave telling on the surface.
The more I looked, the less I knew the score;
Just scratches on the Maserati’s fender,
And a young child’s dirty handprint on the door.

Verse
Sometimes you got disheartened,
Because I was so small.
I seemed to smudge my handprints,
On the pictures down the hall.
But here’s the final handprint,
I left in your heart to remember.
Of the fragileness love of life,
Before I left you last November.
So when you think of me,
Know that we’ve not grown apart.
You must look within to see,
The handprints in your heart.

We see God's footprints, each and every day
The trees, the mountains, the sea
He made this beautiful world
For me
He made the moon, stars, the sun
I love everything that He have done
I am so blessed, happy and free
He made this wonderful world
For me
Many of us love what we see
Beautiful flowers, even rain on a stormy day
Fresh scent of the green grass
He gave this beautiful world
For us
