In doldrums, scribbling-
the halcyon days
Promptly, my soul-
recalls, lo beloved's
pumpkin countenance
flood dancing serene
halcyon life remembered
thunder speaks the truth

Sunset
a living sketch
colours curled together like smoke
in shades gold and plum
oblivious inspiration
to my humbled brush
summer dust
old porch floorboards creak
like lost time~
halcyon thoughts
drifting through my quieted mind,
warm as yesterday.
the troglodyte span
scribbling doldrum brain power
the halcyon days
the woods are my most halcyon place
peaceful are the violets and the moss
there is no hurry, no frenzied space
if you have never been there, it is your loss.
serenity
poised, sedate
calming, relaxing, refreshing
breeze, sunset, bubble bath, lakeside
pleasing, satisfying, restoring
placid, halcyon
tranquility
Halcyon of hiraeth,
Helm harvesting green-gold
Haven above hawkish
Harlequin harbinger,
Heart of seven sisters,
Heliophilic hail
Healing halo, love-hued.
Holding hands, happily humming
tunes in harmony.
Hammock swings, halcyon sings
heady tunes for me and my honey.
The heron flies through the skies
heralding days that are sunny.
Halcyon morning
A yellow, flowers discuss
in spite of the vase
Some souls are rainbow
just by being up, they help
make our life vibrant

Bees are buzzing in their hives
A pony tail swish, deters the flies
Long grass waves, majestic in the wind
And over the pond the dragonflies skim
This halcyon place you love to be
Brings peace and joy eternally.

Looking at the old photograph
where there captured past Halcyon time
viewed slightly to the right
My willow aslant a brook
it is in her eyes
I remember
Still there her wistful glance
Oh my
I do still love her
Cherish past memories ... things are rarely as good second time around
Last year we went back to where we used to live ... it had changed so much the memories were much better than the reality

Torment tempests perish psyche
Anguished anger blazes the maligned mind
Seethes sad life to cinder cake
Agony ashes soar to fly far
Bleakness blurs dark despair
Enticed essence seeks solace in
Halcyon hope of rare rapture
Cool
water
pushes up
against my face.
Eyes searching, left, right,
enchantment, pure delight.
Darting colours dashing through.
From twilight shadows wonders move.
I hang, buoyant, watching, mesmerized
enraptured by this lustrous paradise
in the halcyon horizon dawns another day
painted cloud from scarlet sky drifts away
on the tender grass tips in my meadow
as pristine pearls the drops of dew glow
hued hopes in rainbow mind mesmerize
as after the storm I see the new sunrise
The world that sets aside its halcyon days
will not reprise
the time we seized our genitals
for one audacious drama starring two,
will not recall the lightning strike
that instituted sacrament
to mark an end and set eternal fire
upon a new creation,
you and I.

Dust of twilight hour
Settles on insular life
Introspection time.
In days of sunshine
You melted in my shadow
My halcyon time.
You hold my hands now
Support remaining journey
Embrace till time ends.

May full sails surge with scudding breeze.
May peaceful moorings host your craft
wherever indulgent winds waft.
A toast now to your safe return.
May choppy seas be left astern.
May evening offer pleasing berth
to ensconce in halcyon firth.
Steel insulation warm thin hot smooth downy shepherd smoothness. Pistol clasps palms crystal misses birching basket weavers.
Fluffy firm pedestals release hard deniers.
Doldrum office charts demonstrating
Appendages conceal resistance.
Halcyon boogie board heroes.
Greek play rehearsal.

Infinite sorrows non-existent
life chirped in oblivion
halcyon days of childhood
unplanned outcomes were a hit
full-on Masti from dawn to dusk
until a voice boom into ur giggles
"You're grounded 4 a week"
a tiny moment of heartbreak,
erased again in no time with
your favourite ice cream.
