Halcyon Days

Cherish past memories ... things are rarely as good second time around

Last year we went back to where we used to live ... it had changed so much the memories were much better than the reality

I drove my oldest daughter back to our first home to see the palm tree we planted when she was born and the new owners dug it up and the yard looked naked. I wished I had never gone back.
