Premium Member Gutsy George

There was a German Shepherd named George
Who - on only the best would gorge
If you offered him ground beef or fish
He would growl and cover his dish
He’d howl with a histamine headache
If fed anything less than steak.

Layer and layers of pasta
   On the bottom baking dish
   Next is the ground beef
   Then a layer of pasta
   The layer of cheese
    Another layer of beef
     Followed another layer
             of pasta
     Then comes the cheese
      Next green peppers
      Then the pepperoni
       Served with garlic bread

Premium Member Taco Shells

Taco shells are made of yellow corn meal. They are tasty and crunchy, and usually a good deal. You can stuff them with ground beef, chicken, or even fish. Fill them up with plenty of whatever you wish. Tacos are something folks north of the Rio Grande adore. However, they break too easily and spill their contents on the floor.

Youve Been Chopped

Chefs open your baskets.

                                 What you`ll find is,

                                 A pound of ground beef.
                                 An onion.
                                 A jar of Prego.
And a box of medium shells.

                                 Chefs you have 30 minutes…

                                  Good luck!

Race Day

The last piece of ground beef
No larger than a quarter

Eyed longingly by eight little eyes
their manners for most part in order

First eye each other to look for a nod
And then to look at the plate

Or to look for intent
Should appetite break free in hope to fully sate

Suddenly a hand shot out
to make three laps in au jus

Popped it into her grease rimmed mouth
And bid the whole matter adeau

Baked Shepherd's Pie

Poverty Slop and
jowls of ground beef.

Saliva to corn
that's creamed to belief.

Mashed silk potatoes
spread over the tongue

sealing meat in
to covered and mung.

Tin pan the Shepherd.
A pie sitting heavy.

A feast for a King
and the bowels of a levy.

Full potted tummy.
A growling way down.

Back taste of kernels.
A hunger been drown.

Baked Shepherd's Pie
asleep in the oven.

Morning to eyes
like those of the sloven.

Premium Member Summer Cooking

Form ground beef into patties.
The grill is fired up!
Add potatoes wrapped in foil.
Hot dogs too of course!
Save room for S’mores,
the campers’
treat.

A side dish is pre-prepared:
macaroni and
eggs, cooled, are mixed with cubed cheese,
chopped celery and
onions and tuna
with mayo.
Yum!
