FIRST PLACE


French Canadian Meat Pie (Tourtiere)

Tourtières (French Canadian Meat Pie) — Feeding a Crowd

Place the dough on counter, pull rolling pin till flat, push into a pie plate, pile in the cooked ground beef, potatoes and carrots, put on the dough topper, pop in oven till cooked.

I am French Canadian and Irish settler...I traditionally make them for New Year'z Eve hon ') Have a Fantastic Holiday..Happy New Year Constance, much love .)

James, thank you for the comment, my parents used to make these pies at Christmas time, we all helped, it was like an assembly line, and each visitor on Christmas Day took one home, good memories. You are French Canadian in Quebec, or Ontario ? One of my grandmas was Irish. Seasons blessings Constance
