Graven
Love is madness,
You're my madness,
Time to time,
Stuck like lime,
For love's heaven,
You're my graven;
liebe dich....

Unsown Honor
 choka

amid the grasses
a white beauty blossoms wild
each tiny petal
bestows great honor
along the graven tombstones
volunteer, unsown...

Crush
I clothe my days
With her bliss.
I choke my nights
With her southern gaze.

Deep in my heart
Where passion is graven
And desire sees,

Into the life of things,
I let her memory prey....

Natural Man
Imagine, if the trees could bleed and the flowers cry out in pain,
Man wouldn’t worship graven images nor aspire for heaven in vain?

Do Not Make Graven Idols
Praise not icons
But follow the unseen
God's larger than a portrait
That of faith and blood is what washes you clean
So be strong and wise
And do not make a graven image of thee
Repent and be earnest
Because great rewards await thee...

Brother Mine

The pain so graven
Man betraying man
Emotions fly to intercept
And save a failing heart
Not important, not essential
Try; try to push the knowing down
            to places not visited.
To forgive? To overlook, to salvage..
Essential for survival.
But not forgotten....

Let's Make It Heaven
Let's turn odd to even
By binding count of seven
Hold the soul of eleven
Let's make it heaven

Let's embrace the blaze of oven
The glaze in the manner of solemn
Go go- getter from the craven
Let's make it heaven

Let's make the mash proven
Continue as radiantly woven
Etch the amour, was graven
Let's make it heaven...

Preying On Death
the ravens rest upon the graven cross,
for it is time to guard death with their wings-
they prey on souls who endure love and loss,
                as a demon weeps and an angel sings;
barren branches wither to ash and bone…
one ebon raven longs to perch alone

I chose #2 (black ravens on a cross in a graveyard)

Premium Member Crying Shame
Beware of the crook and his wise
guy’d spooks and their graven look-see.

Whoopsie, of the bed, that you lie in now,
like a crying shame,

bereft of a semblance of size.
Of the thief in the night —

he does shuck all your pride.
     It’s a hell of a ride.

Make it simple my friend:
believe in the Word of the living God

and let embers fall.
     Rise up on your knees,

release all your sins
Believe! It’s a win!

Premium Member Come November
A wind, sharp and cold
Leaves the trees shaven,
Of such colors bold
Yet, in my mind are graven

Come November days
Less sunlight remains,
Where it stayed and plays
Filtering, as it drains

Through amber waves
Leaving my heart warm,
In my memory saves
Before the first snowstorm

Be it white by morning
No more gold and red,
Be it winter's warning
That autumn is almost dead

Come November nights
Stiffened by the chill,
The dappled sunlights
Cling to my soul still.
