Bless Sex Education in schools
Where teachers obey all the rules
So the teacher's pet
Will get juicy wet
And plunge into local gene pools!...

A Test
Hidden in the recess
Developing within the walls
A system to educate
A system that evolves
Statistically a witness to charts and scales
The beginning of the grading towards judgement
To pass or to fail...

Pleating the Coms
Finch trembles in a golden spray
Grading the ant
Oh door less oak squeals
Never platitudes
suit you like a T
Cradles inflected tease and ones
King of the row boat
The S so lowly
Infectious scars legally
mellow in my marshes
Sea is loud
As the sun arose...

Fading
every momentary moment must be
momentarily fulfilled- indulgence
as self-penance as the only
way to go, the only route
(i know) all about the 24hr
show, nonstop flailing- pretending
i know the scene but failing-
my skin turns green & i'm
fading------ they are grading
on a curve....

Gordon For River Jordan
I am asking you Gordon:
Why thrust upon a maiden
That which shouldn't her burden?
Your sin for River Jordan!

Still mistreating a maiden
And her face you did redden
Like had King David's Amon,
Who sister had made common....

Your embraces are modern
Coming before your wedding;
Not her wished Pelty Trading
You with Satan now grading!...

She being Christina Poetic Maltese Maiden Such lines I've learnt Growing my poetry grading Of love, life and it's surrounds Many a day took my breath away You only have to read her words From the page I hear them say Be unto others, and they'll be unto you Love all those around, in turn they'll be true But more importantly be you, for you are their core As they are to you, the word love she so adores <*>

Note playground meeting
Two mothers sharing

Talk about offsprings
Problems and schooling

This and that grading
Vivid this airing

So much of worry
Hustle greets hurry

A common complain
Weary works refrains

Compete with desires
Conflict grips attire

See you the next time
When reason meets grime

Rush like crazy clowns
Before sun goes down

Premium Member Grandpa Explains the Grading Scale
Grandpa’s barn held many secrets
We were cautioned to never open the boxes out there
We figured there were skulls and bodies in them.
When we were six we opened some

Found report cards but did not understand the A’s and B’s.
We were graded with S’s and G’s at the time.
Took them to Grandpa who explained them this way.
A for awful, B for Bad, C for Correct, D for danged Good and F for fine.

Grandma had been an awful student!...

Test
Exam day. I stare
at the students who pour
thoughts out onto paper,
racing before the dreaded words
“pencils down”.

I dread
the grading, the long
hours when the writing blurs
and everybody in the room gets crankier
because we are still
grading, wading
through filled pages like through deep
mud. I hate that
it makes me think
unkind thoughts, that I am forced
to dispense judgment instead of
knowledge
and love.

Premium Member Stop Teaching Fools
Stop teaching! Stop teaching! Stop teaching!
What do we have to do to get this through your heads.
We want them to know how to take standardized tests.
I guess we will have to start grading you teachers

We have discussed it. The committee of Non-teachers and I.
We have decided to issue you demerits on the stuff the state thinks is important.
Hey, are you listening? Then what is wrong with you?
It is all about circling bubbles, you fool. Stop TEACHING!...

A Lesson
Teach me with a kiss how to say
the same words, that yesterday
You heard while we rested again
after the rain have ended our play.

So simple words, you said before
with a vow to preserve the lore,
from the sharp scythe that time
often wields with subtle gore.

I will be ready for the final test
and show to you that I can rest
the same words upon your lips,
grading me A without protest.

This class may not be so formal
but the subject? To love is normal....
