Pretty on the inside,        
Undesirable the cover may be,
Within are concealed treasures,
I may be dormant,
Within I take steps,
Each dawn I take a stride,
Don't strip me of my pride,
Take a walk through my door,

 Reminded of every mistake
a cross no man should bear
the load is too great
  Tears don't fall
everything appears to be the movies

(This is a fictional poem)

This morning my wife and I had a tiff.
I just lost my brakes and I'm about to drive over a cliff.
I said some mean things to her before I went to work.
Now I won't even be able to apologize for being a jerk.

I'm going over this cliff and in a moment I'll be dead.
I hate myself for all of the mean words that I said.
She's very special and I don't deserve to have such a great wife.
I just hope that she can forgive me and go on with her life....

Going over memories taking in the ocean breeze I do what I can to ease the pain sometime I walk in the rain just to shield my cold blue tears It's been two years and I'm still holding on cause letting go is a defeat I'll never know. I remember when you asked dance with me one more time I want to remember how It feels to be in your arms, If you ever find your self unable to carry on just look to the heavens and dance I'll always be right there with you dancing the whole night
