Premium Member Writing About Nothing

Nonsense gibberish
I’m writing about nothing
Totally spaced-out
Having nothing real to say
Completely absent-minded

Premium Member In the Heart of the City

In the heart of the city, in the heart of the night,
I look for a savior and find only blatherskite.

Note: Blatherskite means foolish gibberish.

Premium Member political idiots

Much confusion by the angry rabble
Noisy voices, unheard gibberish babel
Turkeys in a gobbly gook central gabble
Political idiots who argue while they dabble

Her Grin is bigger than a country mile
She sings gibberish with such style
When she says Daddy she makes me smile

Gibberish

A pointless dot,
clumping in the surge
of edges and curves

A clumping dot,
in the pointless surge
of edges and curves

A surging dot,
in the pointless clump
of edges and curves

Premium Member At Times Just Gibberish

I'm on a roll, not a toilet paper roll Methinks most would agree, if you took a poll Mostly good limericks At times just gibberish Over the top silly, certainly not droll

When I look at a banana, all I hear is “Undress me!” now don't call it gibberish Talk to fruit quite often But always use caution Some are quite sensitive and afraid to admit

Boring Job

The most boring job in the world is having to watch someone enjoy his life and enrich his potentials every night and everyday and you have no choice but to stay bitter and conjure a gibberish lie

Premium Member Nonsense and Gibberish

Reduced to nonsense and gibberish
Unable to think; the brain’s gone squish
Dissolved into a puddle of drool
A muttering, stuttering dazed old fool.
Diminished capacity all can see
Sadly, not Biden, I’m talking ‘bout me.

Premium Member Anger

Anger see’s it’s dwelling seldom blessed. Never allowing a peaceful night of rest. Gibberish can often leave others distressed. Edifying words will always pass the test. Rushed thoughts are never from your best.

Premium Member Jabberwocky Gibberish

Her jabberwocky gibberish angered me
My irritation became mammoth disproportioned
She ignores all facts
Picking and choosing who to believe
Making up new “alternative facts”
Endorsing and quoting an entertainment channel
Which should be sued for using the word news

Premium Member After Finding Out You Have a Lover

I try to pretend
it doesn't matter,
like garbage
the day after pick-up,
or feeding to the cat
the remains
of our 7,300th meal.

I try to pretend
it doesn't matter,
like foreign subtitles
on a silent movie,
or hearing only gibberish
when your lips say
goodbye.

Fix Me

No one will truly know
what it's like to be me.
what it's like to be a slave,
a slave to your own mind.
My words are gibberish,
and my thoughts are "kiddish"
for this everyone thinks you need to be fixed.
I am so sorry to inform you
there's no tool you can find
that can fix me.

A Happy Clown To My Child

Nothing has felt softer on my face
Like a fresh breeze with tenderness
She swings her small fragile arms
Slaps my face with soft palms
She blossoms with a teething smile
Giggling at me to make a screeching cry
I speak gibberish to keep her wowed
A clown to wipe out the frown on my child

Premium Member Political Speak

Some wings are for flapping
while others are for soaring – It's
just a fact; as some mouths are for
yapping...while others, really say
something I want to hear –

If I am not making myself clear:
I mean, to me, feathers are feathers...
and I am far to old, to spend precious
time, deciding if gibberish or Tongues? –

Premium Member A Moment of Reprieve

it seemed
his pretentious gibberish
would never end
and then
out of nowhere
emerged
the most blessed
awkward
silence

The Lingo

Lawyers have a lingo
That’s like gibberish to me.
The same is true for those who have
A medical degree.

I guess with any specialty,
The lingo is unique
And understood by colleagues,
Yet to others sounds like Greek.

When language is exclusive,
It’s a pathway to connect
But to those without the lingo,
There’s the opposite effect.

Premium Member The G's Have It

good-looking gorgeous gregarious godmother of mine
guards graceful gracious grateful great-grandma so fine
giddy girls giving genuine gumdrops, guiding GIs to Guinea,
Generating ghastly ghostly gibberish unheard by many,
Gently germinating geometric gelatin a plenty.
Golden goggles glowing good-naturedly
I like these giddy girls who giggle wholesomely.

When I See You

When I see you
My mind turns blank
The words escape
From their rightful place
I begin to freeze
As words of nonsense roll off my tongue.
Gibberish, they are.
You think of me as a fool
Then turn to leave.
Not even the words
"I love you"
Could change our relationship now.
You think of me as crazy.
Stupid.
Ignorant.
I can never manage
To muster a word
When I see you.

Cunning Linguist

David seems to have the knack
Although he thinks he’s cursed
With the gift of tongues
He is exceedingly well versed

No language is a hurdle
To this fellows conversation
He can get his point across
To any man from any nation

But when it comes to ladies
Words are gibberish and random
He is tongue tied and he’s speechless
‘cause he just can’t understand ‘em

Unredeemed

Are you hiding inside your writing,
making it impossible to see what you mean

Camouflaged words based on muddled intent,
to confound, confuse, or mislead

Is it cryptic or gibberish in nature,
your attempt to impress with your scheme

Are your words still unlived as you write them all down
—unpurposed and left unredeemed

(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2020)

Unfinished

Nobody's reading,
and for good reason-
who wants to hear the jive and gibberish
of emotional unbalance; we all get that,
sometimes at our lowest point, but for me,
a near persistent reality, and it's something poetry
captures but can't hold on, because the horror never stops
as it does on the page, and exhalts in only feelings;
the depressive dips and rising rage, of oceanic waves.
