   Once I thought
   the 'Generation Gap'
     was a pile of crap

   Yet today
   I think it's here
     to stay...

In Life Gap

a bird wingless
winds brutal
stories start from one place
they end in a heart

always stops
a poem meaningless
in life gap

Refined Sense Can Trace the Gap

An expert player
Refined sense can trace the gap
                                        between sense and words

Doomed Association Game

I look into your eyes
And I’m safe
And I’m six years old
And you tell me there is no God
And I’m twelve
And my parents are driving home in opposite directions

Snow
Stretches
On grey beams
Spanning our walk
So over the misty water we dream

Listen to poem:
what fills the space between lines?
the gaps between words
the crack and cleft of hesitation
the break-in breaches
the silent pause of interruptions
ponder it in contemplation!

Gap

Loud hollow shell
Glorious silent vacuum
Quiet echo bell

Invoke impartial gloom
Atomic detonation bomb
Renovate the tomb

Appease the qualm
Placate to quell
After noise, calm

Little nothings
Unimportant
Mere slips of the tongue
Omitted truths
Slanted or tinted
Not meant to hurt

Each one
A drop
In that ocean
Drifting them apart

The Generation Gap

"No, they did not invent the wheel in my day""
"And I am not sure if the cave men did it that way or not"

Bridging The Gap

No revenge win
That ends with joy
Backfire more hate.

Seeing night light
Not believing
All about love.

Not all happens
Is fate but cause
Learn more to life.

Always forgive
Till you unlove
Someone to keep.

Friendship Gap

Now many friends are people
Actively not in contact
Everyone has their own
Busy things on hands
Each busy with their own things
The contact is less and less
You will find that there are
Fewer and fewer friends left.

Mad of Gap

Mad of Gap

 Gap is blind
 blind is gap
 Emotions & mind
 grow with age of
 gate to know when
 we meet with a great
meal with a sail of blue
sea as a drink of our cry
to know how you are ?

Given our time on Earth
we are a Spiritual Being
having a Human experience
not a Human having a Spiritual experience
all non human life is drawn from instinct
our lives are born from Emotions
therein lies the classic Rub.
Be one with all and all is you.

Swimming the Gap

The distance between two points,
is a gap of time we'd all chance to swim.
We would leave the beaches of hurt,
for the welcoming shores of love, in an instant.

I’ll look at things your way
if you look at things mine

           That will help us connect
Straighten us out, get us aligned

I won’t ask you your pronouns

an octopus inks through neural currents— that gap between synapses holds the ocean's depth no illusions dissolved silence stretches till the Ego snaps~ its craving a rusted trap gnawed clean by tides abandoned on sand

Generation Gap

My daughter says
I hate my cell phone.
I always have to call home
When I get there,
Where I’m going, with whom and when.

Flashback to me at her age
Coming home from a conference
Out of town
My mother worried at half past twelve
When she thought I should be home at ten
I wish I had a cell phone then.

Stillness fills now between the gap,
Conscious of how no-mind can wrap.

Stillness needs feel to know full well,
Conscious will heals just where heart dwells.

Stillness lives here in soul's plain sight,
Conscious love cheers with peace and light.

God Heals the Gap of Time

Through thoughts of mind
Stronger every day
Remember we pray
A warm embrace
To wipe your face
No heart that has grieved
God shall every leave
Tall tale that tells it all
Love shall never fall
Amongst the stars of the night
His robe shines bright
Jesus rose with the moon
The same light that filled his tomb

Daring Distance Gracing Gap

It is a weird one,
To keep gracing distant sun...
While moon could bail fun.

Dry lips are so tight,
To put words up at such sight
Daring distant fright.

While principles flow...
Yet couldn't keep deeds off blow,
In reality's show.

Why not dare decide,
One your past truly confide
Shouldn't be denied?

Information Gap

How do I bridge this information gap?
a gap of time
to break it down
so you can understand
what's going on.
You're so young.
Harm, I don't intend.
Love, I try to instill.
To give you something
to grasp on to.
I know it's hard for you.
Something new, so fresh.
How can I make you see.
I still love you.
I am still and
always will be
your Mom.

Gap

There’s this gap
Between me and you
It causes pain
It causes distance between
What we want
It causes difference
It causes us to be distant and far away
It makes me regret ever
Meeting you
It's the gap that kills me
It's the gap that causes so much sorrow
It's the gap that causes you to be
4,168 miles away from me
It's the gap that keeps you away from me
