Proving fantasy just might work

Space, the final frontier

I'd rather be there my dear

Cuz I'm a man and a Star Trek fan

So beam me up Scotty, I'm here

Self Infliction

The frontier of violence
strange land of our making
Wilderness of bones and blood
—buried in our fear

(Dreamsleep: September, 2022)

Coded Syrup

Frontier vulture in the coded missions
Autumnal dew is misplaced
Red syrup on the corpse

Frontier Man In Blood

Frontier Man In Blood

Richard Boone,
Relative of Daniel Boone we presume,
Played a frontier man of a later time
Problem solving to earn a dime.

"To boldly go where no man has gone before."
"Space, the final frontier."
Words by some great seer
for they foretell; the closet of Mi Amor!

Hope

The Pandora's last card in winning
Is the inspiring word of 'hope'
The last breath to live
The last bastion of frontier
The potion of life everlasting.

Alaska

America's Largest State.
Land of the Midnight Sun.
An Anglers Dream.
Scenic; filled with wonderful beauty.
Kodiak Island; Alaska's Emerald Isle
America's Last Frontier

Frontier Near

Frontier Near

Remembered when we had found a frontier,
That seemed so close as well as very near;
No proper zone;
Now all alone,
And in desperation all of it did disappear.

JFK delivered a rousing speech on Inauguration Day
Peace Corps, New Frontier, Camelot -- He had so much to say

Yet so many folks don't recall any of that
All they remember's he took off his hat

In a frontier town of Oregon
lives a rascally son of a gun.
He’s taking on louses
that beat up their spouses.
I can hardly believe that’s my son!

Bring a Camera

the quest is to reach the zenith
of mad compulsion.
alien to me are cloaked coins
having affairs with the frontier
of it's silk weapon.

the conquest awaits all of us
who are guided by flocks
of falcons flying into hell.

Game of Thorns

thorns of the frontier fence
is venomous!

these thorns sting and kill
the innocent peoples
to save the rank of kings and queens;

these thorns understand
only vengeance killing;
not humanity!

New Dawn Is Here

i
untangle
my love
from your
silence
nocturnal dreams
withdrawn heart
of rain
surfacing wants
waves are rising
lost frontier
remnants of the
war of love
you
rise and fall
digging deeper
half closed
eyes
salty saliva
new dawn
is here

Fly, Dragon, Fly

Fly, Dragon, fly,
let Falcon lift you high,
Earth’s gravity defy,
amaze the watching eye.
Two heroes sit inside,
taking this wild ride,
can’t be contained by sky,
our big dreams cannot die,
our nature undenied,
a new frontier so wide,
fly, Dragon, fly.

Searching the Fountain of Poetry

We must drink the poetry,
at the fountain
where souls drink...
On the magical
frontier of mysteries,
between the abysses
and paradises,
purified with an innocent soul...
Thus personified in love,
following the purification
of perpetual motion
of life... !

Display Case

Recalled scenes, like diamonds gleam
Scattered on velvet black
Cloth of midnight shadows
All laid out displayed in showcase
Lining the dark chambers
In this graying head, where
the lamplight of recall is hung
Illuminating a frontier
where I stay always young.

New Frontier

I suppose life is here.
There and here.
I surpass the clouds
Alas to the sky.
I swim rivers and mountains.
I swim to Archway Pool.
Japan bows to the excellency
I swim to the barriers of foresight.
My language grows
My relgion grows
Then I wonder the hair
For you, for me.

  New year, cold beer
    Cold beer, Bronx cheer

  Bronx cheer, high gear
    High gear, all clear

  All clear, frontier
    Frontier, sharp spear

  Sharp spear, blood smear
    Blood smear, kill deer

  Kill deer, pure fear
    Pure fear ~
        Get outta here

My Heart, Full Sail

Her hands, I see, are sweetly crafted
My hands, her hair, a river rafted
Or ruby coasts on which I sail
The shore, her face - sublime detail
With sand, so white, so pure, and smooth
Sifting as my fingers move
Her face, her heart, a new frontier
My heart, full sail, is drawing near

Crossed Frontier

Borderland of friendly people,
new land vast to cross,
inviting with its beauty -
enticing.

Visited by Pilgrims -
persecuted men
of new religions
in their countries of origin.

They bonded with indigenous people,
who helped them to survive
and to cross frontier
between two oceans.
Form: Verse

Frontier

The child has drawn a stick-figure.
Primitive, it lacks a pulse. A child
sees a hero beyond nerve and sinew,
heart red as rhubarb. In buckskin
fringes, gazing into a pool
just struck by lightning.
Three more strokes of crayon
create a stallion at full gallop,
its hooves touching nothing but air.

Red Shirt: TOS

A casting extra
No choice on shirt color
Hired for one episode
Studio did’nt want to pay them long term
New planet to explore
Beam down with phasers set to kill
Alien life form attacks
No chance to get off a shot
Bones declares
“He’s dead Jim!”
A red shirt met their final frontier

Destiny

The map to life one cannot chart,
Listen with intent, for what I speak is sincere,
One must live to follow their heart,
For peace which all seek is a uncharted frontier.

Together all living perform a waltz,
Creating earth’s physical blend,
One cannot say this truth is false,
For no one is certain of the end.
