Jfk's Inauguration Day

JFK delivered a rousing speech on Inauguration Day
Peace Corps, New Frontier, Camelot -- He had so much to say

Yet so many folks don't recall any of that
All they remember's he took off his hat

So funny that clothes, hats, coats, and hairdos take precedence!

Funny, true. Not necessariy surprising though. Imagine if Biden had worn a pink pants-suit to the Inauguration! ~ LGBTQ

Well, Kennedy can join the ranks of Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Clinton, Bush Jr., Obama, and Trump. Heard a lot of muck about all of the above. I exempted Ford and Bush Sr. They were pretty wholesome. As far as I know, we vote for a political leader, and if we get a diplomat too, that's a bonus. JFK was both. That's pretty good. Halos are reserved for saints, not presidents. :) gw

Good one Gershon. JFK was a great leader and fantastic business man but he was morally bankrupt as are most politicians. A fine write my friend. God Bless, JB

OK. He was morally bankrupt. Who wasn't after Eisenhower? -- Maybe Ford and Bush Sr. That's about it. The rest, a bunch of frat boys and fakers... But ultimately it's about governing, and I'm pretty much ok with how Kennedy governed. O.K. Enough of politics for today! lol. :) gw
