I remember when we used to vote
at that time people also wrote
books, letters, diaries of their thoughts
But none of that in school today is taught
father father
hold me up high
over your head
farther and father
and spin me
around and around
until
I become you
and you become you
in my fond memories
"Bellows",
bellows the blacksmith
the thatched roof crofter's cottage
so beautiful
in the cottage garden
the wild pink heather evokes
fond memories of Victoria.
Let us with remaining time write new a paradigm
That we may believe what we do not know
Taste the honey we lick the sour lips of tart lime
Share fond memories we cannot show

A momentary tingle in feelings
A handful of fond memories
A sudden gust of strong wind
The inevitable snapback
The lapse of a single moment
A fleeting glimpse of a future
A balled up strand of hair
The inescapable passage of time
How could you know, my love
How can I explain it to you
You've broken off and are away
while I still relish your fond memories
alone... with sadness all around

Filled with colourful delights
Wonderful encounters
With creatures fair and fine
Love and light and hugs
Peace and fun and play
May you create fond memories
Of all you do today

it was summer and
mother had been busy
in the kitchen all day
making a fancy dinner
and custom birthday cake
year after year
it never got old
but I soon would ~
anticipation giving way
to fond memories

You will feel lots of pain
As you continue on with life
The clouds appear with lots of rain
All that is left, are fond memories
Think of the good times that appeared

By air, land or sea
people have longed to achieve

mostly still travel by car
dire straits wont get you too far
Snarled traffic delays
driving round the holidays
sit and grit your teeth
