I remember when we used to vote
     at that time people also wrote
       books, letters, diaries of their thoughts
   But none of that in school today is taught

I watched a movie the other day in which no fewer than six young people (20-30s) knew how to reset a breaker. Really? Not too long ago, I learned that cursive was not taught n school, so young people opening checking accounts have to learn how to write their name. Really?

Sadly the way the schools curriculum is run today is without a wholesome education of the finer things school kids should be taught. It is run by the state and the state definitely has an agenda.

True Gershon. The schools today are not at all like the ones we used to attend. We had teachers who cared but today we have tied the hands of our teachers so that they are not allowed to teach propriety or right and wrong so they no longer care. They are in it for the pay cheque. Nice job here Gershon. Tell it like it is. God Bless, JB
