it was summer and mother had been busy in the kitchen all day making a fancy dinner and custom birthday cake year after year it never got old but I soon would ~ anticipation giving way to fond memories (Leo in title references the zodia sign) AP: 3rd place 2025 Posted on March 17, 2025

It's funny how you notice you've changed, but can't pinpoint when... which is better, anticipation or memories? I can't pick. J :) P.S. Love the photo - washing that smells like sunshine and roses.
