Trump focuses on his banana
So what could he do but dump Anna?
Eight months or seven weeks
Required Trump's special tweaks
So he could blame folk in Savannah!...

Modern Painted Ship On Painted Ocean
Modernity focuses a painted ship on the painted ocean
Only color and fashion, no air, no speed or no motion

It is not Coleridge's The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
But modern ship like society's stagnant sea and river....

Seductively alluring

Eager listener, with an open heart

Natural companion

Slow smile, focuses on others

Unusually compassionate

Altruistically kind

Learns our secrets and keeps them...

Jehovah's Love
Some people think that Jehovah doesn't love them but that's not true.
He loves each and every one of us and that includes you.
God loves us so much that he knows how many hairs are on our heads.
He doesn't focus on our faults, he focuses on our good qualities instead.
If you feel worthless, please don't feel that way.
You're important to Jehovah and you will be always....

The Baby
We need see baby is baby
Of human, whose may be,
Take care and feed
In danger and in need,
This baby will be father or mother
At our age old
To find gold
We do see way no other.

How they may look at
Fair, dark, thin or fat,
Whatever the race is
Family may be poor or rich,
Future obviously focuses in them
To lead the nation,
In proportion
No alternative to care of them....

Premium Member His Love (A Pleiades)
Love from His heart is like,
Lazarus called...come forth!
Legions of angels watch!
Liberation of souls!
Light shining...guiding lives!
Liturgy gracing souls!
Labyrinth with a clear path!

Comments: A Pleiades is a poem with seven lines. Each line starts with the
same letter. The title normally has one word. The poem focuses on the title or
subject. The subject here is God’s love for us....

Monday Morning Mantra
Today
I have to go to work
I will work all day--
At five o’clock, I will catch the train
And go home

Today
I have to go to work
I will work all day--
At five o’clock, I will catch the train
And go home

Definition of Mantra:
Repetition of thought
Repetition of thought that focuses on conformity
Repetition of thought that focuses on conformity
When every other thought
Is telling you – don’t go, don’t go…...

Old New View
I’m tired of the view from my window
With the same old shaggy dog,
Gutted out cars,
And frozen mud footprints.

Tired of the view
That focuses on screaming two year olds,
Half eaten PBJ’s,
And the lost toys that map their world.

I’m tired of
The mindless adults that don’t listen,
Spreadsheets and data bases,
And group work in Stats.

I want a view
That will change,
A view I can keep,
A view that will stay....

Quotes
"Wise souls direct their energies positively while the unwise do the opposite"

"Love focuses on "equality" while rationality tends towards judgment"

"True truth is love while true lies are based on judgment and hatred"

"All idealists are not perfectionists neither are all perfectionists idealists"

“Music is a cascading waterfall of originality that submerges the tensions of reality and rationality always singing equality”...

Premium Member American Soldier
The president extols his bravery,
praises his performance.
The media berates his mission,
questions his integrity.

His wife waits and hopes,
sends photos of the children.

Musicians write his story;
his mother prays for safety.

He dons fighting gear,
second nature to him now,
pushes away thoughts of home,
concentrates, focuses
on the present hour.

He's just doing his job,
defending the cause,
fighting for freedom....

Premium Member My Aunt Is a Broken Sorry Doll
My aunt is like a broken, depressed, sorry doll
She looks under rocks to find mean men so small
Sad tears are what we see all of the day and night
She focuses on negatives, not ideas warm or light.

She once had a bright upbeat attitude and great smile.
But she has been down in the dumps for quite a while.
This latest man is a professional at putting her down.
She looks like a broken doll, a sad sorry puppet, his worried clown....

Together
I
Was there ever a marriage for one?
Would that be fun.
Post-marriage ceremony I mean
Skip much ceremony
But let TWO seem as ONE

II
WHEN u come TWOgether
This new spelling focuses the matter:
Union, Binding Oath, Vows
Kids if the Universe allows

III
These days couples remain a couple
Not even THREEgether, people!
Let alone TENgether as past families
Back to 'together' I hope u see
To To's equal FOUR. A hint Fourgether
Will introduce u to Jesus Forever...

Premium Member Inner Resilience
With genuine mercy for the pain of my life's agony. I believe in the future, which will yield me buoyancy. Starting early will prevent me from getting misery. Goodness gave me joy, and I value His intensity. When it focuses on self, majestic is astounding. Nature's tenderness and power are captivating. I'm just alike this, eager to view humility shining. That is why I am shrouded in the golden wording.

Beloved
You are the sea that shelters me
              and welcome when in you
              soul and body dive ...

              You are my safe harbor,
              when I dare you
              with my anxieties
             and sadness ...

              You are the comprehensive light
              that focuses on the paths,
              when I enter
              in the saddest and
              dark hours ...

              How lucky i am
              to have you ...!...

Always An Adventure
 verse

New walk
Putting my faith
In God

God’s best
Is so much more
Than dreams

I’ve dreamed
Of grand missions
For Christ

Christmas
Means He gave up
His rights

His way,
And majesty
For me

For what?
Not so I’ll dream
With pride

Proud hope
Focuses on
Myself

Self-less
Obedience -
Our Christ

Christ, the
purest model
Of hope

My hope
To walk with Him
anew
