Go Not
Sky – quakes
Air-whales’ flipper prowls
Obscurity rakes…

Bidding adieu
Dark Mountain Hade-shades
Fears brew…

Unfastened hawks
Times’ temperature snow-cold
Gloom rocks…

Stripper Who Was a Finger Flipper
Stripper Who Was A Finger Flipper

All that she wore was her each slipper,
Which is why they called her a stripper;
Pretty precocious;
Flipping ferocious;
We have heard she is a skinny dipper.

I was the waiter to bring him beer...

Beautiful Creature In the Water
I SAW THE TWO SEA CREATURES,
THEY HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL FEATURES,
BEAUTIFUL GRAY SKIN,
EACH LOOKING LIKE A TWIN,
I WONDER IF IT WAS FLIPPER,
THEY WERE MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE BIG DIPPER,
THEY WERE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DOLPHINS,
MAY MANY MORE LIVE ON....

Mermaid Trouble
there is a young mermaid form france
who dreams to be able to dance
she tries to remain chipper
when she falls on her flipper
for it will not fit into pants

there is a young merman named mike
always dreams of riding a bike
people say hurtful mean jokes
when his flipper finds the spokes
now rides side saddle on his trike...

Grandma Joyce
She is the Grandmother I never met
The Grandmother I will never forget
Her knowledge, her wisdom,my saving grace
Her avatar picture a smiling face
The man I call Dad,you know as H G
Calls Joyce "Mom"; therefore "Grandma Joyce" to me
I've just started to read her Poetry
I'm lovingly trap, in her Tapestry

Morning Swim
Time sloshes back and forth.
A rubber flipper
once lost off the Normandy coast,
briefly surfaces.

Off the Bognor Regis coast
one sand-encrusted flip-flop floats by,
it escaped years ago.

There are krill
nibbling at my floating mind.

I may have to snorkel
further
before the sun comes up -

the jellyfish
are stealing my stuff again.

Premium Member Diva Duck Dances For a Grizzly Bear
Diva duck has shiny blue swinging hair
Smooth and silky, arranged with great care.
We watch her fling her flipper feet in the air.
She is being watched by a burly grizzly bear.

He says what kind of human is she? Is she good to eat?
Smacking his lips now, he says “I need a holiday treat.”
We get out of there, because we get a bit of a scare.
Afterall, most of us know better than to talk to a grizzly bear....

One Step Down
Draft beer, chess boards, and Kerouac cool. Cerebral grafitti and a Robot-in-Drag juke box bubbling out fifty years of good jazz. A virtuoso burger flipper destroying the laws of physics, making gravity play the fool. On the restroom walls, the surfaces held musings of poets and philosophers… overwritten since, by lesser bards and now closed. Soon to be apartments.

Never Stop
You can ask me to paint the sky,
A much different shade than blue
Perhaps, a yellow pink or orange color might
Be the choice to suit you.

You can tell me to change animals from winged to footed;
Or flipper to fingers at hand.
Insist that I move continents into a long, continuous, elongated band.

All of these things I think I might achieve,
I think – I believe, I might could do,
Before I could ever possibly, even slightly,
Ever stop loving you....

Soul of An Eagle Life of a Penguin
Soaring in my mind above the blue skies.
Warmth penetrating across my brow.
Diving to feel a cool breeze and soaring again
On strong wings. Time is no importance while on top today.

I look across the vast sea and know I can swim fast and free.
I float, dart and flipper my way to this destination.
Mostly content though when I gaze upward...
Fleeting thoughts of discontentment come as flashes of light.
My dream...to soar as an eagle, majestic, across the sky....
