high through jagged pines
spiraling up towards the sky
smoke from our cabin
indicating the changing
fickle Indian summer
His heart walked out the door
it couldn’t take any more
of the affliction.
His fickle addiction
to love, or was it war?
sieve sifting slight blight
fickle fact lung flung gargon ~

RAINBOWS
Take your breath those colors fickle
In a curving stroke of His wand
Rainbows are a miracle
From God’s creating hand
She was a frequent flier
of the flights of fancy and
her life was often left to
the fickle finger of fate.

Fate's fickle fingers
frequently foist frustration
and fortune 'fore us

The wife never wears a bra
Which seems to fill men with awe
They come and they go
Yet she does not know
Not one of them see a flaw!
The lake by which we watched the sunset has dried up.
so has our promises.
Fickle is the game of heart
more so is the wind of change.

APRIL
a long time coming
she is rosy cheeked and chill
breath quite treacherous
fickle april of my dreams
fondest promise unfulfilled
if granted a boon
to have object of desire
seeking nothing else
holding thus our attention ...
fickle proves our devotion

Time always tells the same story:
That time flies, and love is fickle
And life is time, light, passing.
time comes, but it never returns..
One can't go up to the ladies
And say, "Let's go and make babies!"
When she's on the pill
He's over the hill
And drooling indicates rabies!
each year the same tale
be a little less fickle
one day is one day

A lady well known to be fickle
Was left all alone with a pickle
To her great delight
She found out that night
How a nickel pickle can tickle!
There once was a poet
though he didn't really know it
his words fickle but rhymed fluently
as he nickel and dimed smoothly
Too bad he blew it.
Is the heart material
or has materialism taken over the heart.
Are we fickle because of modernisation
or has modernisation taken over our souls?
My mind is overcome
Words I crave
Yet cannot give
Your attention fickle
Mine constant, unyielding
I would give the world
For you to look upon me
Bodies can be fragile, fickle things.
Fearful of what the future may bring.
A pretty face may be fine in bed
If behind the face, you know the head.
Firmly the bridles of a fickle heart should be held by loyalty, if we wish love to grow!

Pickles in jars both sour and sweet,
Tickle, fancy of all you meet.
Different shapes to see.
This means nothing to me.
Fickle pickles tickle complete.
we are astonished
at use of labels
assigned to domains
imaginary yet sought after
by fickle desire
of deluded hearts
nonchalance yawns
and moves on
I miss her still - although our friendship died;
she doesn't know (or care) how much I've cried.

If your feeling a slight bit fickle,
consider then, eating a pickle,
they glide down your throat,
a shiny green coat,
ending up a dill pickle tickle..
