Tight ( I Think It's Haiku, Correct If I'M Wrong )
if only you could
hold me as tight as a nail
fastens wood to wall...

I AM ANGER
fists of cracked stone, palms turning leather
words left to linger behind your pursed lips
rise with my fever - who fastens the tether
no second to consider your letters on ships
I reign to set fire your mind’s dreary weather
...

Don'T Fear the Truth
Don’t fear the truth
Only be afraid of the lies
Those thoughts that entertain the mind
With fallacies dripping in hollowness
Yet reality grips onto weight
Holding true emotion
But never breaking under stress
Because truth fastens life
When deceit unravels it...

Waiting
No sick man waits for the sun
No cripple waits for to run
Neither the devil, for doomsday to begun
As much as I waited for you

I am not waiting for you to return anymore
I found you after you gone from that door
While my heartbeat fastens every dawn
Don't come back and tore me apart no more...

Early Morning, Screen Porch
He lights on my car antenna.
There are many in the parking lot
but he chose mine.
He fastens to it, flutters off
on jeweled wings, then
returns again. Maybe
he's checking the airways
for weather alert. The reason:
hurricane season. Maybe
he's looking for a girlfriend
in a hood-top speed-dating
search. Maybe he's just
a dragonfly who likes
a singular perch....

Silver-Grey
At the dimming of the day,
unfriended, by his fire he stands,
a warrior of the wasteland
body crippled by the elements' cruel hands.
Wind-burned and swept his hair is silver-grey,
a blend of black and white and every cast between
'til warrior and wasteland are the same.
His gaze fastens on the landscape
in winter light's slow fade,
lakes and mountains stained that silver shade....

Dove
Night fastens self about you
like the dove
fastens its inequity to move
that peace' acquire, tranquility's approve!

And of my thought, consensus seems to brood
antiquating like some meaning's drove
were superceding all of life's remove
that love conditioned sequence so extrude!

This open door of faith, lost times construe
is hoping, but our sorrow God approve
and focus our tomorrow's interlude
on righteous equity, without intrude!...

They pierce the unwelcoming night,
perserving eyes that receive nothing
but an unwholesome darkness,
hot accelerated breath scorches the
freezing air, as it penetrates
in entirety her raffish body while a
shivering anatomy provokes an age
of innocence, yet a stark awareness
of life’s tribulations, as she tucks in
her scarf, fastens her top button
before impetuously walking off into
the shadows to confront her next trick.

Amusing Pastime In the Air....
Up high...
gracefully moving in it's circular motion
an Eagle soars between the sun and the earth...
local ravens,those earthly attendants,
rise to playfully pursue their majesic friend...
their jovial caws and beak nipping,an aerialist sport,
after a while,becomes a distractive annoyance...
so...with a tip of a wing,and a tilt of the tail,
the Eagle fastens itself upon a thermal and
effortlessly,glides away toward calmer space,
....smiling at the jokesters left behind.......

Sorrow
Sorrow fastens upon those who try
Happiness evades all those who cry

The frailties on which life is weakly built
Are felt in the pain of those in conflict

Like a lightning strike it hits us hard
On the hearts our emotions be charred

Nothing stings as of the lovers quarrel
It bites to make your nerves do all but disable

You feel the pain the deep ocean yearning
After a lifetime you continue learning

That trust is tender and scarcely earned
The numbers are few who sorrows can turn....
