Early Morning, Screen Porch

He lights on my car antenna. There are many in the parking lot but he chose mine. He fastens to it, flutters off on jeweled wings, then returns again. Maybe he's checking the airways for weather alert. The reason: hurricane season. Maybe he's looking for a girlfriend in a hood-top speed-dating search. Maybe he's just a dragonfly who likes a singular perch.
