A cat and a turtle, a pair
Found love in the warm summer air.
But it's not evolution,
Just a fanciful solution,
For a fish to be born, that's quite rare!

Garnishing grateful glittery gardenias

a fanciful meditative trance
transformed me into a mermaid
I found myself staring across a warm benevolent sea
my flipper power was amazingly real
this was more than a dream
Fanciful dragon had fool for a pet.

The morning is born
on the edge of today;
a wanton quickly consumed
within the burning of the candle.
The fanciful things you do
brighten my cloistered room;
a glimmer teasing
the depth of an arbor.
A broken plate,
cracked in two,
the web of cracks,
spread across the surface,

so delicate to look at,
they crumble at a touch,
like a dream,

There was a fanciful maid
who joined the Easter Parade
about whom if I could
a poem I would pen
then again
a whimsical sonnet
with an egg or two
and chicks but a few
on her favourite Easter bonnet
How the great art fallen! O man,
O noble creation!
O'erpretty, refined, in the dance, dining
For each divine lit self.
Or is it I'm just hemmed in by
An age's fanciful
If never to be improved upon
Projection of itself?
