Fall Flat
When life looks easy
for others, I attempt too,
But fall flat each time....

Words don’t leap and dance.
They hobble, trip, and fall flat.
Turns of phrase lie dead.

Bitterness
What is the color of bitterness. Does it hold shape, color, distance. Can it be measured like time? Or does it fall flat like a short runned distance....

Soup Mailbox
My Soup Mail is empty
Not a soul sends a word
I write to everyone
And nothing is heard?

One day I'll get a message
And fall flat on the floor
"We moved your old soup mail
Don't worry anymore"...

Thoughts formed into words
written to be heard
Accepted or liked
maybe it might
Fall flat
get laughed at
Be dumb
ridicule by some
Or by chance
at a second glance
It could be good
understood
Do I dare
share?
Something of me
others could read
Poetry....

Perfect
PERFECT!!!!!!
Standing solemnly in standstill,
Aah how awesome and amazing,
Stirring at the splendor of space,
I fall flat on the face,
Frolicking fervently as I watch the flow of His glory,
I crouch to the creator of the creatures,
And I smiled for everything fit exactly in its environment....

Life
The bell rings!
A bird sings!
Opportunities fall flat
All I can say is what?

The account is lacking
Thoughts of packing
A thought of a faraway place
Unjust situations, do I have a case?

Stomach issues arise
Don't feel very wise
Feel like I'm sinking
Constantly thinking!

Finding some blessings
What is next, am always guessing!

A Review
Like frostbitten limbs lay bare to the ice cold breeze of a winter’s day

- Cold and without feeling are your words.

As the burnt orange autumn leaves that lay half decayed upon the ground

- So too your words fall flat.

With neither substance nor imagery; these words that my naked eye follow across
the page.

.....Now lick your wounds and learn from this....

Not Good Enough
Desperate and Ready to Fall
Dressed for the kiss
I sit here waiting for her to come
The flower
The passion
Wonderful Feeling

Whenever Im alone with her
I am Whole again
All I have is my memorys
She has the curse of my heart

Pathetic i am so
Love lost is a disgusting taste
spit spat
I fall Flat
to The Ground
Bottle in hand
poison sinking in my heart...

I'Ll Be Free
Small cracks of light
Gently peeks threw the trees.
My souls trapped
Trying to fly threw these leaves.

Missing the rocket
My soul it came to retrieve
I’m dropped back
Every time I fall flat,
But still I try to bounce back.

Tried so many times
Still can’t seem to fly
Think it’s time to give up.
Or keep on coming back
One day I’ll break threw this trap....

Words
People talking everyday,
But what are they really trying to say?
Words bounce back and forth
Off walls and trees.
Some strike a spark.
Most fall flat.
In the blaze,
Do we actually hear?
With our ears, our hearts?
Words so ineffective.
How to make them know
What the heart understands?
Perseverance and patience.
All will one day be told
And known
In the heart....

Surplus Billions
I take so little from this world,
a bread,
some spread,
little water,
some air,
that lifes me,
and dry my wares,
a little space,
to fall flat,
when I had enough of pace,
some shards to cover me,
and some books to read,
that is all I need,
why are you jealous,
of me,
dont you get even this much,
or are you worried about my billions,
which are anyway surplus....

Mom
I appreciate you,
Mom,
With all my heart.
For every act of kindness,
From the moment you first held and fed me,
Through every tiny gesture of affection and each great sacrifice,
To the supreme effort it must have taken in letting me fall flat on my face-
When i could learn no other way,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
For you are the best mother anyone could ever ask for!!!...

Double Cheater
Never will I fall flat again,
She stole my heart in a jiffy,
For I was blinded by her pain,
Not aware that all was~fizzy,
How can love be so mean and cruel?,
Though no engagement in verbal duel.

Viper on wicked dual mission,
My account was emptied swiftly,
coupled with my true emotion,
Gullible and fooled easily
I parted with my good treasure,
which is priceless and full of pleasure....

I Just Can'T Win
Will I ever get it right
You shove it all in my face
All day and all night
My mistakes I can't erase

Up is down
Black is white
I'm not allowed to frown
I'm not allowed to fight

I slip
I fall
I trip
I crawl

I try so hard
Only to fall flat
My body is scarred
From when the blood spat

We've had this chat
I have to begin again
I feel like a rat
I just can't win

Pull out all the stops and shout from rooftops, the truth that we know, felt by heart mellow. Each path is unique, of same truth we seek, getting to the roots, as our soul reboots. There’s no this or that, arguments fall flat, as we so become, with That oneness one. We do wish to share but who may so pair, for truth’s beyond mind. We must feel to find. 01-July-2022

The words of a poem,
like the notes of a song,
often fall flat, or off key.

Today, words
reached toward clouds,
floated on soft winds
with haunting notes.

The sad of honest pain
tore my heart,
sang of death,
beneath earth’s hard crust.

Yet, I saw her eyes
crinkle with laughter,
then felt her hand rest
on my arm.

The time is near.
She’ll be waiting,
with arms spread wide,
to welcome me home....

Memory of the Aged
Memory of the Aged

Blurring mist creating a transcendent skull,
Gradually dissipating into thin air by glimmer of the sun,
  Aged plucked toothed corn-row
  Of horny gum smile, broadening,
  Grim lips fall flat,
To blab like ignorant spoil infants,
Greetings dug up and hung in the shoulder of space,
Ensnared walking sticks tucked near ancient monument
  armchairs,
While ghosts apparitions lounge in breezy atmosphere....

Fame
What mystery is in this thing call fame,
that makes some people rise and then fall flat?
Maybe their bloated ego led them to Shame.
What misery is in this thing call fame,
that makes a simple soul famous and never remain the same?
A sober soul met fame and turned to a spoilt brat.
What misery is in this thing call fame,
That makes some people rise and then fall flat?

Wide Awake -A Hero's Departure
Wide Awake (A Hero's Departure)

I awoke from a dream, a childlike slumber
Perfectly still, as to not let the vision
slip
Within the eyes of a child, a hero was
born
Safe, soft, a beautiful gift
But in moments of deepest despair,
No hero remained, or had existed
at all
(it would seem)
Promises of love fall flat
behind the facades, the fear of fears,
the listless gleam
From the heart of a woman, a hero
was torn
Beautiful eyes, wide awake
Hope of hopes, forlorn...

Pandora
I think
I would go mad
Someday

If I
Continue to read
You Poets

Like a
Drunken bee
I’ll fall

Fall flat
With your
Heaves and all

To me
Each poet
A Pandora’s Box

By opening it
I feel like
Prometheus

Your beguiling poems
Makes the snake
Come out

I dance
To the tune
Of the charmer

I fly high
Up to the sky
Leaving the earth

And then
You slit my throat
I fall back

Back to the real
Back to death –
The ultimate

It’s my fate.
