A Master's Approval
No happier could I ever be,
(Or feel a joy's enormity!)
Than to know a Soul as Poe-
Would say he likes my poetry!...

Her Fragrance
I was looking at a picture
A footage of a vivid time
The stamp of enormity.

“Which side of the moon will you choose?” She asked.
And I gently blew a kiss toward her fragrance....

Premium Member I Wonder
Sometimes I just wonder
Wonder about it all
Feel disillusioned
Feel insignificant and small

Sometimes I just wonder
What is it really meant to be?
Often overwhelmed
By the total enormity...

Inifinity Is Large But Not Bigger Than My Dreams
The Earth is wide,
but it's not the universe...
the universe is immense
but it's not the infinite...
Infinity is large,
but it's not bigger than
my dreams...
I dream of enormity,
but royal hugeness,
infinitely is God... !...

Comfort
There’s comfort in conformity,
The dry herd steps forward to give
Filed sighs, an enormity
Of purpose, peppered like a sieve
With empty space, paraded fast
Through love and loss, to lie and live,
Splaying bones to yawn death at last,
Our time to pass, we won’t forgive....

my thoughts drift
when I look to starry night
prayers with aplomb
consulting our Lord

approving star winks
clouds silhouette the moon
whiz kiss upon lighten cheek
chase the night
morning charm

before my eyes
enormity of earth
to fit in one hand

Dancing Shadows
Dreams have their own peerless value.
Like oceans enormity,
This resting shadow can be vast
Diving into its depth
Lays hidden meaning of unspoken voices in the dark,
Like a bystander you watch its dance beneath unconscious —bursting with meaning but unable to find a soul to decipher it....

Immortality
Intensive desire
Lust and fire
Looks of enormity
Wet lips fingertips
Chocolate kisses
Arch of my back
Rhythm enacted
Energized movement
Hours of endurance
Unadulterated infatuation
Cream lava fiery
Ultimate entice
Expressions of satisfaction
Code of silence
Your immortality is far and near
Suddenly, you disappear...

The Enormity of Existence
Can a denier believe?
Can a man of God doubt?
Can a prisoner leave?
Can a king go without?

Can children die?
Can stars ordain?
Can songbirds cry?
Can deserts rain?

Can killers heal?
Can healers kill?
Can the sun melt?
Can it be felt?

Can the soul see?
Can my soul hear?
Can God be?
Can time disappear?

Blooming Flowers of Love
music of the blue cloud
penetrating the inner bond
of tormented love caressed
the bosom of the river danced
hugged by the deft touch, pleased
the enormity of the existence attained
lustrous vine sprouted
in the breeze intoxicated
on the white sand entwined
like twins conjoined
lay there in bliss., blossomed
the flower of our love bloomed

BEING ALIVE

If you look deeply honestly
You can see it in the eyes a vastness
Something beyond wild there is
Something beyond fear
Beyond love

Is it a drive?
A responsibility for simply being alive?
A being part of some incredible enormity
Yet in part so miniscule

Wondering?
Pondering?
Asking why?
You look upward into the endless depth of sky...

For the Horses Sake
We could never get a divorce;
we couldn’t decide who gets which horse.
It’s hard enough to lose your spouse,
split the furniture and sell the house.
If I lost my little gelding or mare,
it’d be an agony I could not bear.
Because of the enormity of the loss,
I would surely hit the sauce.
So we will avoid a divorce mistake
and stay together, for the horses’ sake....

The Enormity of Existence, Part 3
I shudder
in this great sleep
to awaken--
to understand,
to see,
to know.

Why the mind?
Grasping a bit here,
a bit there--
the pieces
never, never
to come together.

Why do we long,
And what is it
we long for:
the light of God--
all we need,
all we want--
to bask in it,
the one true
luxury.

Yet darkness clings
to us even in the
brightest daylight....

Deleting the Copy
There is a lot of information out there
we may all be in overload mode.

Oh how to be simple in intricacy,
oh the enormity.

I take out my ever moving mind
lead it into the park

where the sky is also moving.
Time is the culprit
the impostor
the script writer.

I should delete all the thoughts in this poem
forever,
but
I will make a copy anyway.

It's in my DNA....

Giving Up
I wait for you with baited breath
In a drunken haze
I try to envision myself as
Seductress
Knowing full well
I am a silly woman
Knowing you are undoubtedly
Unaware of my position
In this smoke filled carnival
Across the tinkling of glass to glass
And all the laughter spurred by
Unsteady brazeness
The enormity of the absurdity
Offends me
So I stagger home
Decidedly tired of trying...

At Least, Something Is True
I was looking at you.
Morality needs to be built up,
People look around for models
Mirror showed me many things
Advertisements of shampoo, fragrance, romanticism...
And then slowly I find morality in mutilation
High thinking, Plain living...
Or high living , plain thinking...
In the cross fire of these two enormity

Still, I am happy, as I felt you are no longer there
At least, something is true....

Today I will not be a slave to yesterday
Hours will be distilled into precious moments
I will know the enormity of what is small
Now is where my power finds release
Knowledge comes from observing

Battles are often waged in the past
I am choosing to find peace within myself
God has always been there waiting

Waves

To the surfer
The wave requires
Her immediate attention..
To balance forces
Which may result in
Swimming not surfing..

Each morning we arise
To catch a wave..
Wishing that we might
Ride the crest today..
Some days it seems so
But others no..

Then the Recognition
Perhaps when crestfallen
We notice the enormity
Of the ocean within which our
Ocean-wave claims attention..
And at last..we are Free......

Shall
The enormity of time swallows
Each and every rich one's holding's.

Their

'PRECIOUS'

Riches are cast away under a pile
Of rubble and dissolution.

But some poor poet's heartfelt verse,

Which was once disregarded
And shunned time and again,

Shall surface from out the
Legends of the years.

It shall triumphantly last and endure
Throughout time's infamous
Rampage and shall pull two young
Hearts together in eternal way's..............

The Most Authentic Life
The man lives with what they give him,
being one of those needy people
 who can't construct his own
or even select from a much broader range
 of things to be.
 The man is awed
when he gets the signal to be awed,
 when he receives signals about
 enormity of this and that
 his eyes should be disbelieved.
 The signals might say
 "this dwarfs you";
or could say, "this is beyond you,"
or that "the beauty here will humble you."
 It will....

The Ocean
It’s hard for us to understand
Or really ascertain
The vastness of the ocean,
For it’s taxing to the brain.

However, though our comprehension
May those gray cells strain,
There is a sad example
To help realization reign.

For an ocean, like a monster,
Who is guarding its domain,
Has just opened up its giant maw
And swallowed up a plane.

It’s barely left a crumb or two
For searchers to obtain;
And such enormity might make
Awareness more mundane....

Premium Member Carnal Finds the Crown Jewel
In the garden was Carnal the Carrot Butler amidst corn.
There were bare remnants of fruit because of the crow.
Something red and plump was hiding under a leaf, forlorn.
He ran to retrieve it, and had a feast worthy of a show.

It was a perfect red strawberry, still full of water and taste.
Could not believe his eyes at the enormity of this beast!
He nearly dropped it off the serving tray in his haste.
Invited the neighbors and they had an incredible feast!...
