End Times

all day long the heads
talk of doom and disaster
warning us to stay calm
the end of days is nigh
an old poet finds a word

In the mirror

At the end of days,
the earth displays its anger,
Clouds part,
heaven awaits,
choosing life,
I depart.

turbulence and flurry arrived in heat of the afternoon
sky turned bonfire berserk in reds, oranges and yellows
a frenzied vortex disturbed every fiber of our being
end of days?

Time

TIME
Hourglass
Sands of time

Day and night in turns
The sun takes its exit
The moon awakes from its sleep

“Closer we're to the end of days.”

Willed

but He hasn't gone very far away, our loved ones linger still, the wistful watcher this i say, has love in his heart , until, the coming end of days, yet, togetherness is willed... Don

With Love Comes Nothing

with love comes nothing...
but happiness,
pride,
glory,
sun-shine and hope.
with love comes nothing,
but love for the one you love
and when the end of days come,
that love shall continue into God only know where.

Be the Light

Darkness all around,
Increasing day by day,
The light at the end of tunnel,
Seems to be fading,
Feeling like the end of days.

 Like a burning flame,
On a dark & stormy night,
Hope prevails in all the hearts,
That come together as one.

The Human Race

In the grueling marathon of human race
Those who believe the mantra "everyones a winner"
Will neither finish or see the end of days
Confidence in one's self, the stamina
And endurance, from what defines it
Will determine victors, losers and how we place

I Die

When I die
my spirit will fade
will I loose you
deep In the haze
darkness surrounds
searching I go
never to find
may never know
wander all days
yet still I try
never be found
down in a maze
in darkness I go
no end of days
never a glow
never a blaze

Just think on this, at end of days All we hold dear is gone But awareness self-aware stays Because our soul lives on Where within us is soul The light scriptures extol God’s search our only goal Where lies pure bliss Just think on this

End of days.

End of loves.

What once was precious,
Is now just dust.

End of an era.
End of life.
What was taken for granted
-	was that life?

The people we prioritised,
When family was what mattered,

Look at yourself,

You should have known yourself better.

Are You Ready

If tomorrow comes
The last of the end of days
Will you be ready?

Hope is to be found
In the one who gives us life
Jesus Christ, my Lord

Pray to him always
Abide in the truth he gives
Love and peace to you

Victory is won
Glory to God in all ways
Satan must pout now:)

A
ravaged
savage sea
seethes like lava
underneath the moon,
strange eye in clouded sky.
It stares blackly out at man,
bright orange iris reflecting
angry flames of waves below. . . Sun fled;
now all we know is Satan in the moon.

Fear Not Brave Marine

When found you’re at the end of days.
Strolling along the shore of the placid sea;
What is it to fear the night?
And scarcely know thy fate to be!

All that was fades from memory;
Oh! To hold but a moments bliss.
Within the secrets of your silent soul;
Avails your life no more than this!

Shatter

yet words that flow, the rhyme you know, forgiveness really matters, exactly as you try to show, hatred mind does shatter, forgive, with love although, so many curse the latter, love at end of days you know, sieve chaff from oats the patter... be there soul that matters? Don Johnson

The End of Days

It was the End of Days
To go down in a blaze
Of a scientific proposition
As the comet hits in an explosion

It will be an extinction level event
To end the world in a catastrophe sent
They tried to nuke the comet away
But it did nothing and on its course it stayed

It

Glutinous IT oozes, seeping IT displays
Odious IT's intent, to trap and waylays
Onwards to IT's purpose, IT suffers no delays
As darkness descends, IT could be end of days
IT circuitously trapped us, in IT's complex ways
Grotesquely IT's inhuman, as our skin IT flays

Premium Member December Days

Listen to poem:
In the heat haze of December Down-under
I laze on the beach and gaze
at the sunrise and sunset that belays
my drift towards the end of days
as another year passes away
in the relentless tumble of sands
in the hour glass of week days
and weekend malaise of tossed salads,
served with mayonnaise.

Deception

Eyes of deception can
see all but cannot stop,
Emotions crumble like
the stones at every
mountain top,
Like the grain in wood
your twisted ways,
Gruesome impressions
left till the end of days,
Craving your ill
intentions disguised as
good,
Facing a deepening
darkness never
understood.

He Is God

He is God

To every living being
To all, He is God

Forever, He is God
With all power and might
To give life
To smite
With all authority, He is God
With all wisdom
And knowledge complete
Willing to teach
All who would seek
Omniscient
He is God.
