Lady Obama, Michelle
Will push the economy to fail
While at the expense of her nation
Takes a trillion dollar vacation
The Republicans gave us a monkey
That drove the economy to the ground
Now they are offering an orangutan
Who wants to be crowned
America is going to pot,
Whether we like it or not.
Our debt is too high,
The economy is dry,
And the government is full of rot.

Eloquence of expression
Economy of language
Rhythm, flow and feeling
All these make prose poetry
~ only if they leave my heart reeling
Dollar bills flying out of the air
Trillions for all of us to share
Best send some more
The fast food store
Took a million for my dinner there
Geese flock around a still green pond
jolting each other out of the way
honking loudly, wide wings flap
open beaks hungry
for a crumb of bread.
So many crooks like old Madoff
From trusting folks they get paid off
The economy fell
Yet their pockets still swell
and as for me, I am laid off
When she saw the economy brought
naught but poverty; said Ms Charlotte,
"Let us revitalize;
I can still improvise
a harlot for each empty car lot."
I can pay rent and health but not eat
Or I can eat and live in the street
If I trade my mask
For a whiskey flask
We could celebrate Trump's defeat!
Frugality with economy of words
hoping you will read between the lines
silence dishing out the obvious

My retirement statement just came to me
Looks like I’m working till I’m eighty- three
My monies all gone
It didn’t take long
Vanished in a viral economy
This is a perfect example of how bad our economy is.
My local strip club has dancers who are stripping,
so they can help put their grandkids through college.
Money
You know
I need you so
Economy is slow
No job, where did my money go?
Not thrills!

There once was an economist who claimed
Deregulation wasn’t to blame
For the failure of banks
Loss of middle class ranks
‘Til unemployment had to pay him in francs
After four years of calling Trump names
Soon the Dems may have themselves to blame
If they can't tame the virus or the economy
~ Nowhere but the mirror to flee
In scarcity, the rich sees commodity
sights opportunity, possibility of profit
the poors with realistic myopia
they only notice the reality of lack
There once was a mortgage bank broker
Who sold mortgages more than he oughta
Then one day he found
With the economy down
His own house appraised way under water
The economy was roaring
The stock market soaring
His opposition in near-disarray
Then along came a bug
Mister Trump gave but a shrug
~ Only to be swept under history's rug
I went to the bank but my account was empty
As I looked I said check again this just can't be
Where did my money go
No one seems to know
Just a taste of our worlds economy
Jobless in the city looking for
work. Depended on to pay bills.
The economy is bad,
but I have to stay strong.
I have a wife and
kids to support.
God please help
me get
by.
These crazies who run our economy
Deserve a medical lobotomy
They are all of their heads
Ignoring their country needs fed
They just play with our democratic autonomy
I headed up the greatest economy on earth (sob)
And now it's all gone south (sniffle)
But no need to feel sorry for me (tweet, tweet)
I can still stick my foot in my big fat mouth
the merely bourgeois, so-called collective Western world:
dysfunctional political economy, broken system w/ a
population neither able to solve the problem, nor willing to solve it.
Economy On To Spur
With many people we may have to confer;
So that on our economy are able to spur;
Together work,
Including clerk,
But both offense and defense must concur.

Why the jasmine was
now becoming sensual ?
Drummer was dead.
The blackbird comes
again to sing bluesy.
Clouds on moon ?
Economy of love ?
Will you bargain the
delta for stone ?
