The echo bounces against its walls

fluctuating earring
out of style
has to buy me
playing missing nightstands
till the songs pass us goodnights
circling memories up stairs
swimming in stands
never giving up floors
she's tangled twice
he'd paint her nervous twang
beginnings in shorts
dancing cornered
steady gone, one more block
come with her, next time...

would be I the target of her stare,

Dressing for success;
Simple, professional.

The times of being a part of happening things,
The rush of keyboards and telephone rings,
