Box 4

BOX (4)

I let the voice
recognize the box
but it sits opposite me
		chewing my echo.

I stare around.
	I am inside it.
The echo bounces against its walls
piercing my ear
like an earring.

My voice giggles into tears
and stands here
	stuck, to remind me
that the box is stifling me
	the more I grow
	inside it.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

I like the imagery-- The echo bounces against its walls piercing my ear like an earring nicely done.... nice to meet you!
