Mystery of Love
Firecrackers bursting tare,
New years, new tear...

Burst the durst,
Accurst in an outburst,

Rainfalls witnessing the tough times,
Outfalls are the rough mistimes...

A go to his ego,
Forego the flamingo,

Bye to a lovely lover, my heart...
Eyes are gravely over, my harte...

Broom, a bloom in his room,
Groom, a doom in his darkroom......

Victorian Stalker
Victorian Stalker

Tis but a dagger that I wear
No need your eyes to tarry there
Tis true my cup doth overflow
There dwells the happiness I show
Hither hath no dearth of joy
Durst thou besought this wayward goy
Henceforth wither thou walketh out
No twain betwixt will come about
Yet, cometh, Maiden, I beseech
Naught hath I’ve spoken wrought a breech!

Greys People
( an ode to the Greys)

We see through their eyes,
We Feel their pain
And hold their emotions in highest regards,
But in love, theirs is never to reciprocate.
We are the light in the dark
Their black when they are white.
We are the Greys people
The durst solely chosen
To believe where believing is void;
For if Hatred is served as Received,
Love May never reign.

Her Presence
So divine does her presence seem
of my dreams she's the very theme
the one by whom my heart is warmed
and aspects of a lady formed;
Her demeanor is new to me
I'm pleased by this, her rarity
aura of a queen, a goddess
and portrait of earthly sweetness;
To this shy-hearted enchantress
being of a beauty peerless
she stole my heart with finest air
hers I long crave for in my wear;
Now durst and do much as I dare....

The Spirit of Otter Lake (Roundel)
At Otter Lake, whilst welkin starry clear,
A ghostly wail bruits eerily despair,
And eyes appear alit like embers near,
At Otter Lake.

Avaunt, the trappers pray, bedim thy glare;
In sooth, thy mourning grieves a bygone year,
From earthly bourn, ascend to angels care.

Arose a zephyr, thick as bloodied air,
And shrieking withered every soul with fear,
To where a man durst lay his footsteps there,
At Otter Lake....

Dim Embers Plead
Songs take voice in rampant whisper
'Pon the skyways of the Night,
Where truant Sun's no longer sway
O'er Moon's solitary reign...

As once again I durst there go,
To that lone moss-mantled Keep,
To unfathomed caves, my heart's retreat,
Enlamped but by sad yearning's glow.

There angels' psalms on black winds sound
Their dirge to Dream's descent
To flowered tombs- sarcophagi,
Where, loth to die, dim embers plead....

Island
I knew myself that I gave it all to you.
My life, my love, my everything is now yours.
I gave more than anything anyone could have given.

I bought you diamond, he bought you pearl.
I shopped you gold, even just a silver he never did.
I even gave you the sea, and he just gave you an island.

And so I was lucky you were delighted to swim.
But you durst yourself to swim in the ocean of my love, just to cross and go to your island....

Sharing a Name With a Celebrity
Sharing a Name With a Celebrity

By Elton Camp

Sometimes it can be sort of fun
To share a name with Elton John

He can lay claim to it if he durst,
But by many years, I had it first

My knowing of him did begin
With his “Candle in the Wind”

For him, “Elton” is a stage name
As to me, my father’s to blame

While I think that it wasn’t wise,
A weird name was right in his eyes

John has titles and awards in his life
But compared to his, I prefer my wife...

Premium Member Scandalous Fortune

In the midst of her fancy frolic unaware my eyes could see fullsome in her jaded promise with durst, she graces me Over and over each year of silence pushing and tearing a heart revealed thither betwixt thine jaded love like the jostling wind of torn departure Goodbye my simplicity of scandalous fortune where gold and silver for me, but not In treason of promise alas, my thoughts bequeath my will of cherished hope
