Island

I knew myself that I gave it all to you.
My life, my love, my everything is now yours.
I gave more than anything anyone could have given.

I bought you diamond, he bought you pearl.
I shopped you gold, even just a silver he never did.
I even gave you the sea, and he just gave you an island.

And so I was lucky you were delighted to swim.
But you durst yourself to swim in the ocean of my love, just to cross and go to your island.
