And a duck for friendship sake

A QUIET POND

Quiet living pond,
Teaming with its watered lives,

The Ducks In Life

The Ducks in Life

Sometimes we must duck!
From our fine-feathered friends,
Even human ones—

Nice Weather for Ducks

Nice Weather for Ducks

In Seattle
During the winter rains
The coming greeting
Is nice weather
For ducks
Who loves to play
In rainy days
Of Seattle’s winter

Premium Member POND QUEEN

POND QUEEN

Ducks may rule the pond,
but there's a lily pad throne
where a queen frog sits.
while rock-throwing kids scare ducks,
the frog queen quietly sits there:-

Premium Member Birthday Ducks

The ducks take their place in Big Easy -
The gal of age sixty gives squeezy.
     A party with quips
     and dip with some chips.
Though fun, it was all a bit cheesy.

Premium Member A Row Of Ducks

An ignorant duck breeder with a moat
Put off repairing his dingy to float
And he doesn’t yet know
Getting his ducks in a row
Means more than getting his ducks in a row-boat

Three ducks waddling through the snow
I see their bare feet and hope they do not have far to go
Where is the pond? Is their habitat gone?
I wish they had mittens, coats and tiny boots on

Prosaic Ducks

Pond's water captures
the morning shadow

Similar desires teem
in our heads

We love strolling along
the banks of ponds

Prosaic ducks disfigure
the green images
